When it comes to wedding gowns and wedding hair styles of these times, people are emphasizing originality and personality out of the gowns and hair styles as much as they are in relation to makeup. Moreover, as people work even harder to keep up with trends that would be loved the most at certain times, the wedding gowns and wedding hair styles of today are now being categorized as an important total coordination area. As for a survey, a total of 200 brides were selected as research participants and, the survey was carried out in a branch of ‘G studio’ located in Cheongju. The study collected samples from the brides who got married over approximately one year from March of 2014 to February of 2015 and investigated their wedding hair design photographs, wedding gowns choice records, contracts and others. The results of the research on the hair and gown preference are presented as follows. Long hair style has an effect only on the mini dress design but, short hair style affects two designs which are the bell line and the mini dress. Add to that, in terms of chignon hair style, it influences the three designs including the bell line, the A line and the mini dress but as for these four designs which are the bell line, the mermaid line, the A line and the mini dress, they are affected by ponytail hair style. Last but not least, the study confirmed that the brides prefer bun hair style which has influences on the two designs, the bell line and the A line.

현대사회의 웨딩드레스와 웨딩헤어 연출은 메이크업과 함께 개성이 강조되고 트렌드에 부합하려는 노력이 더해지면서 토탈 코디네이션 영역으로 중요하게 자리 잡고 있다. 설문조사는 총 200명의 신부를 대상으로 실시하였고, 조사 장소는 ‘G스튜디오’ 청주지점으로 2014년 3월부터 2015년 2월까지 약 1년 간 예식을 진행한 웨딩 헤어 디자인 사진자료, 웨딩드레스 디자인 선택기록, 신부들의 계약서 등으로 자료수집에 참고하였다. 헤어와 드레스의 선호도 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 롱 헤어스타일은 미니드레스 디자인에만 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 숏 헤어스타일은 벨, 미니 두개의 디자인에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 시뇽 헤어스타일은 벨, A, 미니 세 개의 디자인에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고 포니테일 헤어스타일은 벨, 머메이드, A, 미니드레스 네 개의 디자인에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 당고머리 헤어스타일 벨, A 두개의 디자인에 영향을 미치면서 선호하는 것으로 나타났다.
