Tanizaki Jyunichiro is remembered as the person who translated 『Gen- jimonogatari』 into a modern living language three times. Of those three translated editions of the work, 『Jyunichirosinsinyakugenji- monogatri』 is believed to be the last version that was translated into a modern living language. This study examines the original text of 『Genjimonogatari』, 『Zenyakugenjimonogatari』 by Yosano Akiko and 『Jyunichirosinsinyakugenjimonogatri』 in order to discuss certain features observed in 『Jyunichirosinsinyakugenjimonogatri』. Of the parts that are called ｢Tamakazura-jyujyo｣, only ｢Hotaru｣, ｢Tokona- tsu｣, ｢Kakaribi｣ and ｢Nowaki｣ are investigated here. In ｢Jouzetsuroku｣, Tanizaki once mentioned the excellence of 『Gen- jimonogatari』 in relation to Japanese literature. In addition, multiple studies conducted in Korea and overseas countries have confirmed that the novels of Tanizaki are related to 『Genjimonogatari』 in various aspects style of writing, plots, character design, necrophilia, and the Oedipus complex motif, among others. Based on previous research, this study first defined 『Jyunichiro- sinsinyakugenjimonogatri』 as another creation by Tanizaki and then compared patterns in the acceptance and transformation of the work with those of the original text of 『Genjimonogatari』.

다니자키 준이치로(谷崎潤一郎)는 『源氏物語』를 세 번씩이나 현대어역한다. 그 중에 마지막으로 현대어역된 것이 바로『潤一郎新々訳源氏物語』이다. 본고에서는 『源氏物語』 원전과 요사노 아키코(与謝野晶子)의 『全訳源氏物語』, 그리고 『潤一郎新々訳源氏物語』를 텍스트로 하여 『潤一郎新々訳源氏物語』에 나타나는 특징을 고찰하였다. 연구범위는 소위 ｢玉葛十帖｣라 불리는 부분 중 ｢蛍｣, ｢常夏｣, ｢篝火｣, ｢野分｣만으로 한정하였다. 다니자키는 ｢饒舌録｣에서 일본문학에서 『源氏物語』가 가지는 우수성에 대하여 언급한 바 있다. 또한 그동안의 국내외의 많은 연구로 인해 문체와 플롯, 등장인물들의 설정, 네크로필리아(necrophilia)와 모성사모(母性思慕)모티브 등의 다양한 측면에서 다니자키의 소설들이『源氏物語』와 관련성이 있음이 선행되었다. 본고에서는 그러한 관점에서 『潤一郎新々訳源氏物語』를 다니자키의 또 하나의 창작물로 규정하고 『源氏物語』원전과의 수용과 변용양상을 고찰하였다.
