The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderation effect of basic psychological needs satisfaction on relationship perceived parental expectations and golf performance. For the study subjects, 200 amateur golfer of Korean college golf federation, and Korean junior golf association were selected to be surveyed. 195(97.5%) golfer were set as a final significant sample after having ruled out 5 golfer judged to contain unreliable and insincere answers. The statistic analysis for data processing were reliability test(Cronbach’), confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and modulation regression analysis. the results of this study were as follows. First, aptitude and prospect sub-factor of the perceived parental expectation are significant factors influencing perceived golf performance. Second, prospect and basic psychological needs satisfaction were a factor in the predictive factors for perceived golf performance. Third, low basic psychological needs satisfaction group, when aptitude and prospects of parents expectations for golfer are high, golf players perceived high golf performance. Consequently, In low competence, relationships and autonomy of the golfers, parents must support the innate athleticism of the golfer rather than through pressure control or interference, and believe performance of golfer are to be improved in the future.
