This paper has analyzed the determinants of hierarchical mobility of farm household income class using logit model. The results are as follows. First, hierarchical mobility of farm household income class has been continuously decreased and hierarchical persistence been deepened. Second, farm household with side jobs and larger member of household has experienced more changes of hierarchical classes in farm household income. Third, the rate of rising the hierarchical class has been higher as the age increases, but when it reaches to the elder group, the age has become descending factor of hierarchical class. Fourth, in most cases, the ascending of hierarchical class has been shown in comparison with a rice farm. Finally, the ascending of hierarchical class has been increased as the insurance premium and expense of trusted farming has been higher.

이 논문은 양극화 현상을 소득 분배구조의 불평등과 소득 계층의 고착화에서 기인한 것으로 보고 농가소득 계층 이동성 결정요인에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 분석방법론은 주로 로짓모형을 사용하였고 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농가소득 계층 간 이동성이 점차 저하되어 계층 고착화가 심화되고 있다. 둘째, 가구원 수가 많을수록 겸업농가일수록 농가소득 계층 이동을 많이 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연령이 증가할수록 계층 상승 비율이 높았으나 고령층으로 연령이 높아지게 되면 계층 하락 요인이 되었다. 넷째, 논벼농가에 비해 대부분의 경우에서 계층 상승이 많이 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 재해보험료가 높을수록 위탁영농비가 높을수록 계층 상승에 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다.
