We are losing enormous number of young people who used to belong to the church. Are there ways to draw them to church? To find out ways, we must know why they leave the church in Korea. This paper sought the channel to draw the next generation from connecting families with their church. If parents are empowered and restore their spirit through the ministry of the church, they will be crucial part of forming faith learning ecosystem. Therefore restoring a balanced and healthy relationship between family and church is the clue to recovering and connecting this generation and the next generation for the kingdom of God. This paper focused on faith education through recovering the organic relations between family and church which will properly respond to the challenges in this postmodern era. Fostering the healthy relations between family and church is the key to form a faith learning ecosystem and the researcher of this paper calls it “The Gagyo Ministry” which will solve the problems of today’s family and the church. If any individual is to be a healthy disciple of Christ and citizen of society at the same time, a healthy faith learning ecology must be formed just as Uri Bronfenbrenner asserted. This means that church leaders need to help parents in family while they are aware of peer groups and social environment in order to form healthy and balanced individuals. Through the research and many years of experimenting, the researcher has found that the Happy Together is the most applicable, biblical, and wholistic curriculum out of all. The Gagyo Ministry which aims the cooperation between parents and teachers of the church can work hand in hand and foster their kids to be healthy and balanced disciple of Christ and citizen of the society at the same time. It helps all family members to be familiar with biblical virtues all year around. The Happy Together includes “Kids Together” which enables all age congregation through specially produced program which teaches the next month’s biblical theme in one Sunday evening worship service. Not only that “Family Together” material is provided to all families and with it parents and kids can live in biblical themes while they spend most of time in family. The Happy Together has included crucial Church Year themes which encompasses the importance of discipleship. Also it has included most of important themes such as stewardship, compassion and etc. The most crucial focus of the Happy Together is perhaps “One Point” message. Sermons and teachings should be focused on the same theme. Thus senior pastor and children’s pastor should preach on the same subject although their choice of Words and methods can be different according to their needs. Parents and kids can share what they have learned from their worship service and practice the message in and out of home. Forming a healthy faith learning ecosystem can revive family and the church in balance. To be successful current faith education paradigm must be reformed and transformed in order for them to work together. Pastors need to realize that education for next generation is their ministry and furthermore they should consider the Gagyo Ministry to form an ecologically healthy faith education system. In conclusion, family and the church must restore the organic relationship by cooperating one another for helping next generation to grow in faith in Christ.

왜 많은 청소년들이 교회를 나오지 않는가? 많은 청소년들이 교회를떠나고 있는 이유를 연구한 결과는 우리에게 많은 것을 시사해준다. 청소년들은 교회에서 하나님을 만나지 못하는 경우가 많았고 그들의 부모조차교회출석을 중요하게 여기지 않은 것으로 드러났으며, 예전과는 달리 교회학교만이 그들이 서로 연결되는 유일한 통로가 아니었고 실제 교회에 다니는 친구들이 교회에 다니지 않는 친구들보다 탁월함을 보이지 않아 많이실망하고 있었다. 본 논문은 다음세대들이 다시 교회를 찾고 교회학교로돌아오게 하는 통로를 가정과 교회의 연계에서 찾았다. 가정과 교회의 유기적 관계 회복을 통한 신앙교육 학습생태계 형성을 시도함으로써 다음세대를 현세대와 연결시키게 되어 신앙의 맥을 잇게 하고자 한다. 다음세대로 하여금 교회에 매력을 잃게 하는 네 가지 도전은 문화론적 도전, 교회론적 도전, 사회적 도전, 가정 내의 도전으로 요약된다. 그런데 이러한 도전에 응전하는 가장 효과적인 길은 가정과 교회의 유기적 관계 회복을 통한신앙교육임이 드러났다. 현재까지 우리나라에서 수행되고 있는 가정사역의 네 가지 유형을 밝혔다. 첫째 유형은 성을 구별하여 수행되는 가정에서의 부모의 역할에 대한 훈련프로그램이다. 둘째 유형은 집회식 교육이다. 셋째 유형은 전세대와 남녀를 초월한 교육프로그램의 형태이다. 넷째 유형은 온 가족 온 세대가 한곳에 모여 같이 공부하고 예배하는 형태이다. 연구자는 가정과 교회가 연계하는 사역을 가교사역으로 명명하고 이를오늘날 한국교회와 가정이 직면한 문제를 해결하는 해결책으로 제시하였다. 한 사람이 건강한 예수의 제자이며 건강한 세상 속의 시민이 되기 위해서는 브론펜브레너가 제시한 생태학적 체계이론이 말하는 것과 같은 건강한 학습생태계가 형성되어야 한다. 이 말은 한 사람이 균형 있게 신앙적으로 성장하기 위해서 가정, 또래집단, 지역사회 등이 고려되어야 한다는 의미이다. 가드너도 한 개인의 창조성이 개발되기 위해서는 그에게 선한 영향을 끼치는 중요한 타인과 그가 흥미를 가지는 분야에 우호적인 문화와풍부한 사회적 지원이 있어야 한다고 하였다. 결국 가정과 교회가 마을 속에서 적절히 연계하여 다음세대를 양육하고자 노력하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 현재까지 가정과 교회가 연계하는 프로그램과 교회에 대한 고찰을 해본 결과 아기학교, 사랑방공동체교회와 금당동부교회는 전세대가 함께 다음세대를 양육하려고 애쓰고 있었다. 그리고 노스포인트교회와 영락교회의 252 Basics와 WITH는 각각 성경적 가치를 가정과 교회가힘을 모아 다음세대에게 가르치려는 의도로 만들어진 교재이다. 그러나 연구결과 현재까지 개발된 교재 중에 가장 성경적이고 전인적이며 가정과 교회의 연계를 실질적으로 활발하게 만들어줌으로써 신앙학습생태계를 근본적으로 회복시켜 줄 수 있는 교재는 장신대 기독교교육연구원에서 개발한“해피투게더”였다. 해피투게더는 가정의 부모와 교회의 교사/목사가 연계하여 다음세대를건강하고 균형잡힌 그리스도의 제자로서뿐만 아니라 세상의 책임적인 시민으로 양육하는 데 적합한 교육과정이라는 결론에 이르게 되었다. 해피투게더는 아동부 교육목회를 가능케 해주는 “키즈투게더”와 공동체 예배를통해 매달의 성경적 가치에 대한 전세대 예배를 가능케하는 “올투게더” 그리고 가정에서 부모들이 자녀와 함께 교회에서 배우는 성경주제를 같이 나눌 수 있도록 성경공부 주제를 쉽게 풀어주고 익히게 해주는 노래와 교재를 제공하는 “패밀리투게더” 세 가지가 유기적으로 작동하게 도와주는 교육과정이다. 해피투게더는 담임목사와 교육전도사의 메시지를 하나로 묶어 동일한 주제로 설교할 수 있도록 도와주며 가정에서 부모들도 동일한주제로 자녀들과 같이 말씀을 나눌 수 있게 도와주는 것으로 드러났다. 이를 대개 “원포인트” 메시지라고 부르며 매달 집중적으로 한 가지 주제에집중하여 한 해에 12개의 주제에만 초점을 맞추어 온교우가 함께 신앙생활을 하게 하는 특징을 갖고 있으며 건강하고 균형잡힌 신앙학습생태계 형성에 적합한 교재라는 것이 드러났다. 건강한 신앙학습생태계 조성이 마을 속의 가정과 교회를 살리게 될 것이다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 신앙교육 패러다임에 대한 새로운 인식이 필요하다. 둘째, 신앙교육 시스템 구축을 위하여 목회자들의 교육에 대한 관심과 아울러 가교사역이 지역과 연계할 수 있도록 시도하여야 한다. 셋째, 생태학적 신앙교육 시스템을 위한 교육콘텐츠들이 역사와 문화, 사회에 대한 관심을 포함하고 있어야 하며 학습자들의 필요를 반영해야 한다. 마지막으로 가정과 교회가 마음을 모아 협력하는 유기적 관계를 회복하여야 한다.
