This paper explores how evangelicals can respond to the missional church, which has been arising as the main subject of study and ministry with special reference to its practical trend. Evangelicals have been thought to be stress personal piety, conversion, and evangelism while ecumenicals tends to more emphasize social action and public justice. Missional churches perspective can offer insights to evangelicals even though it originally builds on missio dei, which has been known as the representative motto of ecumenicals. It is important to understand missional churches from the practical perspective rather than from an academic angle, because theories are very often ladden with practice. After reviewing recent literatures about missional church, this paper highlights the five marks which missional practitioners advocate: place as mission, mission of being neighbors, everyday mission, physicality in mission, and sentness. These marks seems to become driving forces of missional movement, and can function as corrective to evangelical movement which easily falls into idealistic, consumeristic, disincarnate mentality. In conclusion, this paper suggest that evangelicals can participate in missional conversation by contributing to it with their evangelistic focus and the centeredness of grace-filled worship in the church life.

이 논문은 최근 선교와 목회 영역에서 주된 관심 의제로 떠오르고 있는 선 교적 교회 운동에 관한 복음주의적 대응과 대화의 방향을 다룬다. 특히 실천 신학적 관점에서 선교적 교회 운동을 고찰하고자 하는데, 이를 위해 선교적 교회와 관련된 담론 뿐 아니라 이의 실천적 흐름을 중점적으로 살펴본다. 왜 냐하면 모든 실천에는 이미 경험되고 시도된 이론들이 내재되어 있기 때문이 다. 따라서 선교적 교회 운동과 복음주의의 대화는 실천적 층위에서 모색될 필요가 있다. 선교적 교회의 전략가들이 저술한 최근의 문서들을 보면 장소로 서의 선교, 이웃됨의 선교, 일상의 선교, 몸으로서의 선교, 보냄받음이 이 운 동의 주된 추동력으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 지역성과 일상성은 소비주의적, 탈지역적, 관념적으로 치우칠 수 있는 복음주의운동에 대한 건강한 대안이 될 수 있을 것이다. 아울러 본 논문은 복음주의자들이 선교적 교회에 응답할 수 있는 주제로 전도적 수렴점과 예배적 준거점을 제시함으로, 이 운동의 수용 가능성을 논한다.
