It is preachers’s mission to deliver biblical truths with the languages of the times so that audiences today could hear God’s message. Media is the area that obviously shows the changing times and embraces the languages of the current cultures. Actually media is the languages of the times. It is time for preachers to have interests in constantly changing media ecology and various messages delivered through it. This paper will present first on drastically changing homiletical circumstance due to the hyper-development of Korean media society, and then discuss remedies for problems that preachers recently confront. As a preliminary step, the paper will briefly analyze the changing of Korean media ecology. Among many characteristics of the media society, ‘media exposure’ and ‘blurring of lines’ will be discussed. The middle part of the paper will focus on current changing of homiletical surrounds: sermon plagiarism and confusion on values. The paper focuses two problems because these are considered as the most urgent ones that preacher should overcome now. As the remedies for the problems of media exposure and blurring of lines, two things will be presented-homiletical transparency and the balanced proclamation based on clear biblical criteria and public truth.

설교자는 시대를 초월해 복음을 전하기 위해, 우리가 살아가는 시대를 이해 하고, 그 시대의 언어로 기독교 진리를 풀어낼 소명을 가지고 있다. 현 시대의 변화가 가장 잘 나타나고, 시대의 언어가 고스란히 담겨있는 영역이 바로 미디 어다. 사실 미디어 자체를 그 시대의 언어라고 보아도 무방할 것이다. 그렇다 면 목회자들은 이 시대에 복음을 전하기 위해 끊임없이 변화하는 미디어 환경 과, 그 속에서 전해지는 메시지가 무엇인지 관심을 가져야 한다. 본 논문은 초 발전 미디어 사회로 진입한 한국 사회에 나타나고 있는 설교 환경의 변화를 조 망하고, 지금 설교자들이 처한 문제들과 그에 대한 대안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본고의 초반에서 한국의 미디어 환경 변화를 잠시 살펴볼 것이다. 빠르게 발전하는 미디어 사회의 여러 특징 중에 본고는‘폭로(media exposure)’와‘경계소멸(blurring and disappearing of lines)’을 주목하고 있 다. 소논문의 특징상 미디어 사회의 여러 특징을 광범위하게 논의하는 것은 불 가능하기에, 설교 강단의 변화에 가장 중요한 요소가 될 수 있는 것을 두 개만 선정해 논의하고 있다. 논문의 중반부에서는 미디어 환경에서 나타난 두 특징 으로 인해 벌어지는 설교학적 변화의 실례로 설교 표절의 문제와 가치관 혼돈 의 청중에 대해 살펴볼 것이다. 미디어 사회 속에 파악되는 강단의 변화 또한 다양하나 이 두 가지만을 예로 든 것은, 이 문제가 현재 목회자들이 인식해야 할 시급한 문제라고 생각했기 때문이다. 본 논문은 표절과 가치혼란에 빠진 청 중의 문제에 대한 해법으로 투명성 확보 및 분명한 기준과 공적 진리(public truth)전달의 균형을 제시할 것이다.
