Youngsanjae is the most prominent buddhist ceremony of Korean intangible heritage #50 and recorded as Unesco world heritage in 2009. So we have to gather the wisdom for efficient transmission and communication methods. There is a problem to make 3days performance in 1day content. The problem is that some high level performing parts and non popular parts are skipped and evaded. To solve this problem, it is suggested that performance types should be rearranged to 2-3 types and should be performed step by step. Concerned about smooth communication with audience, most audience said that it is boring or difficult to understand what it means. so we need a new concept of pamphlet. we avoid the existing pamphlet with 4 languages and have to make it with many languages along to many countries. we have to supplement the pamphlet with academic information to raise up its academic value and give serial numbers to performing items to communicate smoothly. We also add entertaining factors to Youngsanjae as far as it doesn't damage the original form. Merely nominal role of Yunaso should be rebuilt to communicate smoothly and raise up religious mystique. Youngsanjae is the great mountain mingled with religious dogma, idea, culture, arts and history. So we have to watch and experience it in various ways to catch its profound meaning. We try to do our best to get the efficient transmission method and the smooth communication skill of Youngsanjae.

대한민국 무형문화재 제50호인 영산재는 한국불교의식의 정화로서 2009년 9월 유네스코 문화유산으로 등재되는 쾌거를 이룬바 있다. 그런 만큼 전승과 그 가치를 공유하는 방법에 대해 고민하고 지혜를 모아야 한다. 본 논문에서는 연구 주제를 ‘영산재의 효율적 전승’과 ‘관객과의 원활한 소통’으로 정하고 몇 가지 방안을 강구해 보았다. ‘효율적 전승’에 관한 문제로는, 연중행사인 시연에서 三日靈山을 하루로 압축하여 거행하는데 따른 문제점을 예상하고 부작용을 줄이는 방법을 강구해 보았다. 부작용으로는 시간의 단축으로 인해 난이도가 높거나 비인기 항목은 축소 및 기피하는 경향이 발생, 해당 의식의 변형 내지 소멸될 우려가 있음에 주목했다. 이에 대해 시연의 형태를 2～3가지로 정리하여 순차적으로 거행할 것을 제안하였다. ‘관객과의 원활한 소통’에 대해서는, 영산재를 체험한 사람들의 대다수가 ‘지루하다’ 또는 ‘의미를 알기 어렵다’고 토로하는 점에 주목했다. 소통부재에서 오는 부작용이다. 이에 대해 새로운 개념의 팸플릿을 고안해 보았다. 4개 국어로 작성된 기존의 팸플릿에서 탈피하여 국가별로 만드는 한편 내용에 충실을 기하여 자료나 학술적으로 가치를 지닐 수 있도록 하자는 것이다. 또, 소통의 원활을 위해 의식의 각 항목에 일련번호를 부여할 것도 제안했다. 아울러 의식의 원형을 훼손하지 않는 범위 내에서 연희적 요소를 가미할 것도 함께 강구해 보았다. 유명무실해진 維那所의 위용과 역할을 되살려 소통의 원활을 기하는 동시에 종교적 신비감을 더해보자는 것이 그것이다. 영산재는 교리․사상․문화․예술․역사가 어우러진 거대한 산이다. 제대로 파악하기 위해서는 위치를 달리하며 살펴보고 또 경험해야 한다. 효율적 전승과 원활한 소통을 위한 끊임없는 노력이 경주되어야 하는 이유다.
