For the research on the wedding makeup design preference according to season, 205 customers conducting ceremonies in Daejeon and Chungcheong Province, Korea, were selected as the subjects of this study. A total of more than 200 copies of the questionnaire were collected; the research was carried out targeting brides for about a year, from March 2014 to February 2015; pictures of wedding makeup and hair and records of dress selection were consulted as materials. The results showed: as for eyeshadow, the peach shadow was highly preferred for spring and summer, while the brown shadow for autumn and winter; as for blusher, the pink blusher was highly preferred all year around; as for lipstick, the pink all year around; as for eyebrow, grayish-brown and brown eyebrows all year around. Dislike colors were clear in each wedding makeup. The importance order in the wedding makeup was found: considering face shape > dress > brand > price > fashion. This study analyzed wedding makeup more preferred by brides, by investigating determinants and preferred styles of it in the light of seasonal characteristics. Through this, this study aims to be basic data for the study on the wedding total coordination suitable for wedding styles that get more various and segmentalized.

계절에 따른 웨딩 메이크업 디자인 선호도 연구를 위하여 조사 대상자는 대전 및 충청 지역에서 예식을 진행하는 205명의 고객을 대상으로 하였다. 총 200여부가 회수 되었고 조사 시기는 2014년 3월부터 2015년 2월 까지 약 1년 동안 예식을 진행한 신부들을 대상으로 웨딩메이크업 사진자료, 헤어 사진자료, 드레스 선택 기록 등을 자료수집에 참고하였다. 연구결과 아이섀도는 봄, 여름에는 피치섀도가 가을, 겨울에는 브라운섀도가 높은 선호도를 나타냈고, 볼터치는 4계절 내내 핑크볼터치가 높은 선호도를 가지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 립스틱은 4계절 내내 핑크립스틱이 높은 선호도를 나타냈고, 눈썹은 4계절 내내 회갈색눈썹과 갈색눈썹이 높은 선호도를 가지고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 각각의 웨딩 메이크업은 선호도가 낮은 색상이 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 웨딩메이크업에서 가장 중요한 순서는 얼굴형고려 > 드레스고려 > 브랜드고려 > 가격고려 > 유행고려 라고 나타났다. 계절의 특성을 고려한 웨딩 메이크업에 대한 결정요인과 선호한 스타일을 파악하여 신부들이 더 만족 할 수 있는 웨딩 메이크업에 대해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 보다 다양하고 세분화 되어지는 웨딩스타일에 적합한 웨딩 토탈 코디네이션분야의 연구에 기초적인 자료가 될 수 있다는 점에 목적을 둔다.
