We can discover easily TV dramas in the literature textbooks. This phenomenon is caused by interest in culture or mass-culture in the Korean language education. But the education of TV dramas have not acquired educative specificity, but stopped at common sense. To obtain educative meaning on TV drama, the educative reconstruct of studies and researches must be preceded.
The study on TV drama started with cultural studies and feminism. These studies concentrated the ideology and the image of feminine. In other words, the studies reckoned without the various meaning and a diversity of TV audience. Gradually, the studies are concerned about the TV audience. That is the very audience studies. But these studies were short of close inner analysis. The narrative studies took charge of the narrative interpretation. Here, the image aesthetics of TV drama supported in TV drama studies.
So, the education of TV drama must accept and reconstruct these consults. And integrated education of TV drama and literature will be available.

소위 ‘문화 시장’과 ‘교육 시장’에 ‘영상’이 높은 가치로 거래되고 있다． 개정될 국어교육과정 또한 영상매체와 관련된 내용을 많이 포함시킬 예정 이다． 영상매체 텍스트 중 접근성이 강하고 학생들의 일상 문화를 형성하고 있는 것이 텔레비전 드라마이다． 현행 교육과정에 따른 국어 및 문학교과서 등에도 이미 텔레비전 드라마가 많이 수록되어 있으나 그 내용이 상식선에 머물고 있어 ‘교육’의 의미를 무색하게 한다． 이 시점에서， 교육의 전문성을 제고하면서 텔레비전 드라마에 대한 학생들의 지평의 상승을 위한 논의가 시급하다고 생각된다．
본고에서는 텔레비전 드라마와 관련된 교육이 어떠한 학문적 접근을 토대로 재구성되어야 하는지 제시하고， 개편될 국어교과서에 실릴 예정인 KBS 역사 드라마 <불멸의 이순신>을 중심으로 그 교육 내용을 간략하게 서술하였다． 특히 이 드라마는 김훈의 《칼의 노래》와 김탁환의 《불멸》을 원작으로 하면서도 텔레비전 드라마로서의 독자성과 특수성을 가지고 있어 소설과 영상의 상호텍스트적 교육을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 더욱 시사적이다． 본고에서도 이 점에 착안하여 〈불멸의 이순신>이 갖는 역사 드라마로서의 특성， 원작과의 상호텍스트적 접근， 영상미학적 읽기 등을 중심으로 교육 내용을 재구성하였다.
