In this study, Korean language using reality of ethnic Korean youth in Chinawas considered by targeting vocabulary being used in composition. Contents oftext was mainly divided into quantitative consideration and qualitativeconsideration. In quantitative consideration, vocabulary distribution by eachregion and school education stage based on word type and frequency wasobserved and in qualitative consideration, error and characteristics ofvocabulary use was observed by dividing it into each word type. Quantitative distribution in using vocabulary of ethnic Korean youth showsdifference depending on school education stage and region and this tendencyis considered to be attributable to a difference of education level and linguisticenvironment. Furthermore, it could be realized that even in error being takenplace in a process of using vocabulary, it is significantly affected by socialbackground and linguistic contact.

본고에서는 작문에 쓰인 어휘를 대상으로 조선족 청소년들의 조선어 어휘 사용 실태를 고찰하였다. 본문 내용은 크게 양적 고찰과 질적 고찰로 나눈다. 양적 고찰에서는 어종과 빈도에 따른 지벽별 및 학교 교육 단계별 어휘의 분포를 관찰하였고, 질적인 고찰에서는 어휘 사용의 오류및 특징을 어종별로 나누어 관찰하였다. 조선족 청소년들은 어휘를 사용함에 있어서 양적인 분포는 학교 교육 단계 및 지역별로 차이를 보이고 있는데, 이는 교육을 받는 정도와 언어 환경의 차이에 따른 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 나아가 어휘 사용의 오류로부터도 사회적 백경 및 언어 접촉의 영향을 많이 받고 있음을 알 수 있다.
