A literary coterie magazine, maintains a consistent writing stylemethodically in the continuous and common process of seeking the image of 'explorationof inner world' and 'lyricism' in poems. One of the evidences of consistent writing styleis repeated use of equivalent words. Repetition of equivalent words was considered suitableto seek the common goals of to explore and reveal the non-visible aspectsof inner world. Also many poems in Modern Poetry show high frequency of abstractwords. Poems that contain many abstract words create fantasy-like, imaginary qualitybecause of the linguistic nature, which is a style of writing in the process of revealingthe non-visible, abstract inner world. Repetition of sentence structure in is a style of writing chosen in the process of seeking lyricism in a poem when repetitionof sentences is associated with musicality of a poem. Lyricism was what fundamentally sought. This study examines the relationship regarding the style of writing,that is repetition of sentence structure.

동인지 <현대시>는 지속적이면서도 공통적으로 추구했던 ‘내면 탐구’, ‘리리시즘’과 같은 지향점을 시로 형상화하는 과정에서 일정한 문체를 방법론적으로 적용하고 있다. 이러한 문체의양상으로 우선 등가어의 반복을 들 수가 있다. 등가어의 반복은 비가시적인 내면을 탐구하고드러내기 위한 방식으로 내면을 탐구했던 동인지 <현대시>의 공통된 지향점을 이루는 데 적합한 방식으로 채택된 것이다. 또한 동인지 <현대시>의 다수의 시에서는 관념어가 높은 빈도로 쓰이고 있다. 관념어가 많이 쓰인 시는 관념어가 갖는 언어적 특성상 환상성을 유도하는데이는 비가시적이고 추상적인 내면을 드러내는 과정에서 쓰이게 된 문체인 것이다. 그리고 동인지 <현대시>에 나타난 문장 구조의 반복 현상은, 시의 문장 반복이 음악성과 관련된다고 볼때 시의 서정성, 즉 리리시즘을 추구하는 과정에서 선택된 문체적 방법인 것이다. 리리시즘은동인지 <현대시>가 근본적으로 추구했던 것인데, 본 연구에서는 문장 구조의 반복 양상을 보이는 문체와 관련하여 그 상관관계를 살펴보았다.
