In this paper, urbanization development level index system was constructed, urbanization development levels of 31 provinces (cities) in China were statistically analyzed with factor and cluster analytic approach, the whole country was divided into three region levels. The result indicates: there are obvious regional differences in urbanization development level around China, they are much higher in eastern costal regions than in central and western regions, and they show an enlarging trend; Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin have apparent advantages in urbanization development level and they pull the urbanization development level of China higher.

본 논문은 도시화 수준의 지표 체계를 수립하고 주성분 분석- 군집 분석법을 이용하여 중국 전국 31개 성(시)의 도시화 발전 수준에 대해 통계 분석하며, 전국 구역을 3층 등급으로 구분하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같이 나타났다. 중국의 지역 도시화 발전 수준은 지역별 격차가 극명하고, 동부 연해지구 도시화 수준이 중서부 지구보다 높고, 그 격차가 확대되는 추세를 보였다. 베이징, 상하이, 톈진의 도시화 수준의 우세가 두드러졌고, 전국의 도시화 수준을 끌어올렸다.
