This study is approached to the relationship between coaches and trainees from the perspective of attachment theory. We use the trainees' need satiation and ideal self-congruence with coaches' personality as major causal factors that influence trainees' attachment to a coach. Specifically, this article uses autonomy need, relatedness need, and competence need as the dimensions of need satiation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of these factors on the trainees' attachment to a coach and trainees' perception of the educational service quality provided by a coach. The empirical results suggest that trainees' relatedness need satiation hae strongest impact on the trainees' attachment, and ideal self-congruence has the positive relationship with the trainees' attachment. Also, the hypothesis that trainees' attachment to a coach will have positive influence on trainees' perception of the educational service quality provided by a coach is supported. The empirical results show that the effective way of building the strong coach-trainee and consumersports center relationship to a sports center.
