The rise of Huanglong faction in the late Northern Song Dynasty, which is a very important phenomenon of Seon's history. Seon Buddhism had been divided into five schools and had been prosperous. Huanglong and Yangqi factions, however, consisted of the final-stage new Seon’s schools. In this paper, meditation, education, geography, the opportunity are four perspectives for analyzing the rise of the Huanglong as multi-faceted study of various factors of its rise. The Huanglong reflected the new way to send Seon and intellectual development, and its monks demonstrated exemplary care and cultivation of talent and effort. In Jiangxi, forest temple is constructed mainly to preach sectarian development as center features, the Huanglong faction once replaced the Yunmen as mainstream sect of Song’s Seon and injected fresh vitality.

북송 중후기 선종 황룡파(黃龍派)의 출현은 매우 중요한 선문의 현상으로, 이 를 기점으로 오가(五家)로 분종되어 함께 발전해 온 전통이 바뀌게 되었고, 양기 파와 더불어 선림 7종 계통의 최종적 형성을 완성시켰다. 본고는 ‘선법 사상· 인재 양성·전법 지역·성립 배경’라는 네 각도로 황룡파의 융성과 진흥의 구 조를 분석하고, 황룡파 흥기의 여러 요소를 고찰하였다. 황룡파는 선풍(禪風)과 선사상 발전의 새로운 방향을 제시하였는데. 대덕(大德)을 본받아 승범(僧範)이 나왔고 승려 인재를 양성하는 등 선림에 큰 기여를 하였다. 이로 인해 강서(江 西) 도량은 선법을 전하고 선법을 구축하는 주요 중심지가 되었고 기존 종문(宗 門)의 발전 양상을 한 단계 높이는 계기를 마련하였다. 결론적으로 황룡파는 기 존의 운문종을 대신하여 송대 선종의 주류 종파로 거듭났고 송대 선종사의 발 전에 있어 새롭고 참신한 생명력을 불어넣는 역할을 담당하게 되었다.
