This study examined the effect of adolescent’s volunteer activity on social responsibility. Particularly, this study has focused on the effect and mediation effect of spirituality and interaction of social responsibility. For achieving this purpose, this study conducted the path analysis using the data of 382 adolescents who are middle school and high school student’s located in S region. For data processing the SPSS statistical package was used for a causal relationship between the variables. Mediating regression analysis has applied for creating the research model and measuring the mediating effects of social responsibility. The results of study showed that the volunteer activity have a significant influence on the social responsibility while spirituality forms partial bridge between the volunteer activity and social responsibility. On the basis of the results, practical suggestions on the volunteer activity and social responsibility of adolescents are discussed.

본 연구에서는 청소년의 자원봉사 활동성이 사회적 책임성에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보았다. 특히 자원봉사 활동성이 영성을 매개하여 사회적 책임성에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 영성의 매개효과를 알아봄으로써 청소년의 자원 봉사활동성을 통한 사회적 책임성을 높이기 위한 효과적인 교회사회사업적인 접근을 탐색하였다. 이를 위하여 S지역 중·고등학교의 학생 382명의 자료를 활용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 주요변수들의 특성을 파악하였으며, 회귀분석을 통해 연구모형 및 사회적 책임성에 대한 매개효과를 검증하였다. 주요 연구결 과는 청소년의 자원봉사활동성이 사회적 책임성에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으 로 나타났으며, 영성은 자원봉사 활동성과 사회적 책임성의 관계를 부분 매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 자원봉사활동과 사회적 책임성을 위한 실천적 제언들이 이루어졌다.
