The distribution map of suspended sediments in the Hallyeohaesang National Park was generated using Landsat-8 image and beam transmissometer for CTD. As a result, the suspended sediment was higher concentration in Sacheon Bay, eastern sea of Namhae Island and northen sea of Gadeok Island. The correlation between the radiance of Landsat-8 band 3 image and the measured suspended sediment concentration was high despite of temporal gap of 2~3 days between the survey date of Landsat-8 image and the date of in-situ measurement. Therefore the generation of suspended sediments distribution map may be very useful to estimate distribution and behavior of suspended sediment.

Landsat-8 위성영상과 CTD의 광전도측정기(beam transmissometer)를 이용하여 한려해상국립공원 해역의 부 유물질 농도분포도를 작성한 결과 사천만, 남해도 동측해역, 가덕도 북측해역에서 높은 부유물질 농도 분포를 나타 내었다. 위성영상 관측일과 현장측정일 사이에 2~3일의 시간적 격차가 있었으나 두 자료 사이에 높은 상관도를 나 타내었으므로 위성영상을 이용한 부유물질농도 분포도 작성은 연구 해역의 부유물질 분포 특성 파악에 유용할 것으 로 판단된다.
