The fauna of freshwater fish were investigated from April, 2013 to February, 2014 at Twenty-nine stations in Mudeungsan National Park. During the surveyed period, Collected fishes were 1,974 individuals and were identified to 17 species of 14 genera belonging to 6 families. The endemic species of Korea were 6 species: Rhodeus uyekii, Squalidus gracilis majimae, Zacco koreanus, Iksookimia hugowolfeldi, Odontobutis interrupta, Odontobutis platycephala. Dominant species was Rhynchocypris oxycephalus and subdominant species was Zacco temminckii. Endangered species and Natural monument species were not identified.

2013년 4월부터 2014년 2월까지 무등산국립공원 29개 조사지점의 담수어류상을 조사하였다. 어류는 6과 14속 17종 1,974개체로 확인되었다. 한국고유종은 각시붕어, 긴몰개, 참갈겨니, 남방종개, 얼록동사리, 동사리의 6종 이 확인되었다. 우점종은 버들치였고, 아우점종은 갈겨니로 나타났다. 환경부 및 문화재청 지정 법정보호종은 확인 되지 않았다.
