This paper deals with the grammatical morpheme of daga in Korean language, which appears in ‘noun+case ending(ey/(l)ul/eykey/hanthey/(u)lo)+taka’ phrase. It is known that this kind of daga means ‘emphasis’ and it is generated from the verb tak/taku- according to the current research. This article focuses on the Korean annotation of Chinese classics during 16~18 centuries. The ‘noun+case ending (ey/(l)ul/eykey/hanthey/(u)lo)+taka’ phrase from books of that time are translated from Chinese ‘Ba-sentence’. Based on analyzing the data, this paper comes to two important conclusions: ① The translation of ‘Ba-sentence’ acted as a catalyst for the grammaticalization of tak/taku- → taka. ② taka of e-daga is different form the one in ul/eul/eykey/hanthey/(u)lo-taka.
