The main purpose of this study is to inquiry the relation between subjectivity and power through the concept of self-split and over politicization. According to the results of the qualitative survey, many university students agree to the humanistic values rather than the neoliberal values. But they do the routine thing in accord with the neoliberal values, because they can’t but follow the discipline of neo-liberalism to get the job in their everyday life. This everyday situations lead to the self-split of university students’ subjectivity. We can define this everyday situation as relation between the subjectivity and power relation. As a result, whenever they confront events which stimulate the self-split of their subjectivity, they can’t but suture it in order to avoid negative emotions such as guilty, disdain and depression. So this study analyse and inquiry the way in which they suture this gap by the articulation of the discursive formation.

이 연구의 목적은 자기분열 개념을 통해서 권력관계와 주체성 간의 관계를 살펴보는 것이 다. 심층설문에 따르면 많은 수의 대학생들이 신자유주의의 가치에 대해서 동의한다기보다는 오히려 인간적인 가치에 동의하고 있다. 그러나 대학생들이 취업을 하고 삶을 꾸려가기 위해 서는 신자유주의가 부과한 규율에 따라야만 하며, 이러한 상황은 대학생들의 자기분열의 원 인이 된다. 한편으로는 자신답다고 여겨지는 내적인 믿음이 있고, 다른 한편으로는 외적으로 강제된 규율을 부과하는 권력관계가 존재한다. 이 둘 사이의 분열을 봉합하거나 완화하려는 시도가 주체성이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 김예슬과 김창인의 자퇴에 대한 대학생들의 응답 을 분석하고, 학생들이 담론구성체의 접합을 통해서 이러한 괴리를 봉합하는 방식을 살펴보려는 시도다.
