This study is intended to derive medical image graphic element for convenient communication with the general public who relatively lack in medical knowledge along with the technical development of medical image. Health care service-related design is a process of the medical profession and stakeholder's deriving an efficient visual communication method. With regard to research method, in order to survey the present condition relating to medical image, we examined cases such as medical image produced by professional medical personnel, cosmetics brand putting a cell in the foreground, an advertisement for Swiss bank depicting a cell and DNA, and medical illustration with cell design. And cases of producing medical images by RIT, CIAS, a foreign specialized educational institute in the medical image field, were analyzed. As a result of research, we deduced what shall be considered in producing the projection mapping of medical image. Messages such as medical professionalism, medical artistry, and medical education properties should be delivered in producing medical image projection mapping. What should be considered in producing molecular medical image projection mapping includes friendly feeling, stereotype, mystery, cubic effect, and the like in consideration of the characteristics of cell, etc. In addition to these, matters such as the nature of cooperation, image distortion, and graphic scalability should be considered in consideration of particularity of work.

본 연구의 목적은 의료영상의 기술적 발전과 더불어 의학적 지식이 상대적으로 부족한 일반인들과의 편리한 소통을 위한 의료영상 그래픽 요소를 도출하는데 있다. 의료서비스와 관련된 디자인은 의료관계자와 이해 당 사자가 효율적인 시각적 커뮤니케이션 방법을 도출해내는 과정이다. 연구방법으로 의료영상과 관련된 현황을 조사한 부분은 전문의료진이 제작한 의료영상, 세포를 전면에 내세 운 화장품브랜드, 세포와 DNA가 묘사된 스위스은행의 공모사례, 세포디자인 메디컬 일러스트레이션등의 사 례를 살펴보았다. 그리고 의료영상 해외 전문분야 교육기관인 RIT, CIAS의 의료영상 제작사례를 분석하였다. 연구결과 의료영상으로 프로젝션 맵핑을 제작할시 고려할 점을 도출하였다. 의료영상 프로젝션 맵핑 제작시 의학적 전문성, 의학적 예술성, 의학적 교육성 등의 메시지가 전달되어야한다. 특히 분자의료영상 프로젝션 맵핑 제작시 고려할 점은 세포등의 특성을 고려한 친근감, 정형성, 신비감, 입체감 등이다. 이외에도 작업의 특수성을 고려하여 협업의 성격, 이미지 왜곡, 그래픽적 확장성과 같은 사항을 고려해야 한다.
