Colors have the consuming strength tochange our emotion in a very short time. Acountry or a nation's symbol color reacts it'sthoughts, language, natural environments. The purpose of this research isresearching the historical knowledges relatedto China's symbol color Chinese red and sortout them, indeed to do some help to theresearch of the Chinese red. The research method is to observe andstudy the Chinese red using case. Forexample cultural relics and sites andnowadays' the Chinese red using case aboutculture and lives. And also search theliterature. China's sites and historical relics, even thenational symbol and the culture be used or beflexible used nowadays uses the red. The redhad signify the important things of the powerand the live, also means congratulate. Whendiscriminates the red from the time, in ancienttimes red means power, high status, rare, nowit means progress, revolution, communism,vitality and many other exoteric things. Especially the mean related to power made alot of fixes and rules to limit its use. The result of this research can beinterpreted as ancient dynasties want to usethe red's quickly be grasped, impressive,activity properties. And nowadays ChineseGovernment and Chinese Inherited it.

색채는 사람의 정서 상태를 즉각적으로 변화시키는강력한 힘을 지니고 있다. 특정 국가나 민족의 상징 색채는 그 민족과 나라의 사상, 언어, 자연 환경을 반영한다. 본 연구는 중국의 빨강을 역사적 차원에서 관련지식을 고찰하여 중국의 상징색으로서 빨강의 이해에도 움이 되고자 하는데 있다. 연구 방법은 빨강의 적용사례 유물과 유적 그리고 현대문화와 생활환경에적 용된 사례를 통해 중국과 빨강의 상관관계를 이해하고 관련문헌을 통해 고찰한다. 중국의 유적과 유물, 그리고 현대에서 사용되거나활용되고 있는 국가의 상징물과 문화에 이르기까지오 랜 세월 동안 빨강을 권력과 생활 속에서 중요한것을 상징하거나 축하하고자 할 때 주색으로 사용되고 있었다. 빨강을 고대와 현대로 구분하여 보면, 고대에서는 권력, 높은 지위, 고귀함과 같은 적고 희귀한 것을, 현대에서는 고대에 비해 상대적으로 진보,혁명, 공산주의, 생명력과 같이 개방적이고 많은 것을의 미하는 것으로 파악된다. 특히 권력과 관련되어서는 다양한 규정과 규제를 두어 사용을 제한하기도 하 였다. 이러한 결과는 빠른 인지와 강렬한 인상, 활성과같은 빨강의 효과를 이용하고자 하는 고대 중국 국가들 의 의도와 현대중국 정부와 중국인에 의한 문화로서의 승계와 높은 선호에 따른 것으로 이해된다.
