Seismic Response Analysis of Spatial Structure According to Earthquake Excitation Direction

Seismic design code generally require to consider the effect of earthquake excitation in the principal direction and the orthogonal direction. However, it is not easy to select the principal direction of the large spatial structures such as the dome structure. Due to the dynamic characteristics such as vibration modes and frequencies, the large vibration response can be induced by horizontal seismic load as well as vertical seismic load. An accurate seismic analysis of large spatial structures considering seismic load direction is required to correct seismic design for spatial structures. Therefore, in this study, the seismic response of dome structures considering seismic load direction are analyzed for rational design of large spatial structures. It is difficult to select the principal directions of large spatial structures. So, seismic analysis should be performed by changing the input angle of each of the seismic load. And it is reasonable to select the principal direction through the earthquake response analysis. And seismic response of spatial structure are greatly induced by vertical seismic load. In combination for seismic response, the vertical direction earthquake load should be considered.

지진하중을 받는 돔 구조물의 지진응답은 작용하는 지진하중의 불확실성뿐만 아니라 대공간 구조물의 동적특성으로 인하여 복잡한 거동을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대공간 구조물의 정확한 지진해석 및 합리적인 내진설계를 위하여 지진하중 방향에 따른 돔 구조물의 지진응답을 분석하고자 한다.
