Hierarchical conference can be used well in ubiquitous environments, but information delay is likely to occur because the information exchanged between terminals goes through the hierarchical structure. In a hierarchical conference, the delay between terminals is divided into terminal latency and network latency. Terminal latency can be represented by terminal hops, and network latency can be represented by RTT(Round Trip Time). In this paper, we propose an algorithm of non-incremental hierarchical conference considering the number of hops and the round trip time between terminals. As the experimental results, the hierarchical conference with the proposed non-incremental scheme can support better conference organization than the existing incremental scheme based on the terminal hops and RTT between terminals, and also than non-incremental scheme which uses the shortest distance terminal or average path distance.

계층 구조의 다자간 회의는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 유용하게 이용될 수 있으나, 단말기 간 교환되는 정보는 이웃 단말 기 들을 통하여 전달되기 때문에 정보 지연이 발생될 가능성이 높다. 계층 구조의 다자간 회의에서 단말기 간 지연 은 단말기 지연과 망 지연으로 구분 되며, 단말기 지연은 단말기 홉수로 표현될 수 있으며, 망 지연은 왕복시간으로 표현될 수 있다. 본 논문에서, 단말기 사이의 홉수와 왕복시간을 고려하여 비점진적 계층 회의를 구성하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 방법을 이용하여 모의실험 한 결과 제안한 방법이 단말기 사이의 홉수와 왕복시간 을 이용한 점진적 계층 회의 방법 및 최단 거리 또는 평균 경로 거리를 이용한 비점진적 계층 회의 방법보다 계층 회의를 효율적으로 구성할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
