This research pointed out the major characteristic found in each level by considering 1)form level, 2)phoneme level, 3)syntactic level, 4)semantic level by targeting Korean verb combination without medium morpheme such as ｢ogada, oleunaelida, gulmjulida｣ which did not receive attention much in the advanced research. They are as follows specifically. ․Form level：‘verb stem’ form comes in foregoing verb(V1). ․Phoneme level：Examples of phoneme phenomenon in the initial sound of succeeding verb(V2) exist. ․Syntactic level：①Boundary cannot be separated by any element. ②All of four types of case dominance are observed. ․Semantic level：①No example is observed that foregoing verb indicates typical ｢means｣ or ｢cause｣ of succeeding verb. ②Examples between antonyms exist which semantically conflicted. This research was implemented as a part of investigating the essence of Korean and Japanese verb combination, and the above characteristics will be the important point to systematically describe the similarities and differences between Japanese verb combination.
