This study found that learners feel curiosity or difficulty in position or pronunciation of katakana long vowel sounds, based on survey of learners. We consider the error analysis of long vowel sounds in katakana through listening tests. And the aim of this paper is the establishment of the correct katakana listening through the listening guidance and make correct pronunciation. Comparing failure rate and insertion rate of long vowel sounds through the listening test, we can found that ending long vowel sound’s failure rate is higher than the mid-sentence’s failure rate. And accounted for much of the overall error failure rate than the insertion rate of long vowel sounds. Learners do not recognize long vowel sounds where the long vowel sounds are needed and no need to have a long vowel sounds position recognize long vowel sounds marks. After tests, listening guidance using the pass filter (low-pass filter) and the body motion rhythm (body movements) performed four times. It can be seen that higher percentage of correct answers after the guidance from 51.2%, but the percentage of correct answers to the first time 67.5%, the second time 82.5%, the third time 98.7%, 98.7% and the fourth time. It can be seen that long vowel sounds in katakana settled with the four time guidances.
