The purpose of this study is to investigate commercial high school teachers’ perception of the introduction of NCS based curriculum. The results of this study are as follows. First, commercial high school teachers’ understanding of the concept of NCS and NCS based curriculum is very low. The level of understanding of the concept of NCS is 1.67 and that of NCS based curriculum is 1.48 in 5 point Lickert scale respectively. Second, most of commercial high school teachers think that the introduction of NCS based curriculum into commercial high school will affect business education very much (4.60 in 5 point Lickert scale). This trend is more prominent to teachers with more teaching career. Third, after introduction of NCS based curriculum into commercial high school, the following abilities will be increasing in importance. - subject development ability, job analysis ability, curriculum design ability, executive domain evaluation abilityKnowledge based teaching ability and cognitive domain evaluation ability will not be increasing in importance. Executive domain evaluation ability is important now and will be important after introduction of NCS based curriculum into commercial high school. Forth, commercial high school teachers think that their own ability is above the average in relation to knowledge based teaching ability and cognitive domain evaluation ability. And they think that their own ability is below the average in relation to the teaching and evaluation ability of executive domain. The findings of this study suggest the need for training which raise the level of the understanding for the concept of NCS and NCS based curriculum. And the instruction method should be changed toward competence based instruction. After introduction of NCS based curriculum into commercial high school, every commercial high school teachers should get the ability of job analysis.

이 연구의 목적은 NCS 중심 교육과정의 도입에 대해 상업정보 교사들이 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 파악하는 것 이다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상업정보 교사들의 NCS에 대한 이해 수준(5점 척도에서 1.68점)과 NCS 기반 교육과정에 대한 이해 수준(5 점 척도에서 1.48점)은 매우 낮았다. 둘째, 상업정보 교사들은 NCS 중심 교육과정 도입이 상업정보교육에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 인식하고 있었다(5 점 척도에서 4.60점). 이런 경향은 대체로 교직경력이 많은 교사들에게서 더욱 두드러졌다. 셋째, 상업정보 교사들은 NCS 기반 교육과정이 도입될 경우, 교재 개발 능력, 직무 분석 능력, 교육과정 설계능력, 실무영역 평가 능력 등의 순으로 중요도가 크게 증가할 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 그리고 이론지도 능력과 지적영 역 평가능력의 중요도는 크게 증가하지 않을 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 실무지도 능력은 현재에도, 그리고 NCS 기반 교육과정 도입 이후에도 중요한 능력이라고 인식하고 있었다. 넷째, 상업정보 교사들은 NCS 기반 교육과정 운영에 필요한 능력 중에서, 이론지도 능력과 지적영역 평가능력은 보통 이상, 직무분석 능력, 실무지도 능력, 실무영역 평가능력은 보통 이하의 능력을 보유하고 있는 것으로 인식하 고 있었다. 이 연구 결과를 통해 얻을 수 있는 시사점은 상업정보 교사를 대상으로 한 NCS 및 NCS 중심 교육과정에 대한 연 수를 강화해야 하고, 실무능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 방향으로 수업방식을 개선해야 하며, 산업체의 요구를 정확히 파악할 수 있도록 교사들의 직무분석 능력을 향상시켜야 한다는 점이다.
