This study discussed contents and methods of debate education in Korean for academic purpose. This study put an emphasis upon argumentation category education and examined values of argumentation ability at debate ability. The study made sub category of debate education in Korean to find out position of argumentation category and to examine principle of operation of argumentation together with other items. The study made system of not only argumentation category of debate education in Korean but also argumentation education in Korean. And, the study made sub areas of argumentation category and selected contents in each area. The study set class stage for argumentation education and gave not only teaching- learning contents but also examples of the material of the schema.

논증 범주에 대한 학문 목적 한국어 토론 교육의 내용과 방안을 마련하기 위한 논의를 전 개하였다. 본 연구에서는 논증 범주 교육의 필요성을 제기하였으며, 논증 능력이 토론 능 력에서 차지하는 중요성에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 한국어 토론 교육의 하위 범주를 체 계화하였다. 이것은 논증 범주가 차지하는 자리를 알아보기 위함이었으며, 이로써 논증 능 력이 다른 항목들과 함께 작동되는 원리를 알아볼 수 있었다. 결과적으로 본 연구는 한국 어 토론 교육 논증 범주를 체계화하기 위한 작업을 수행하였고, 한국어 논증 교육을 위한 체계를 마련하였다. 또한 논증 범주의 하위 영역을 구성하고 각 영역에서 다루어져야 할 내용을 필요에 따라 선정하고 배치하였다. 또한 논증 교육을 위한 수업단계를 설정하고 포함 도식을 대상으로 교수-학습 내용과 자료의 보기를 제시하였다.
