I have studied and suggested here with the necessary types, numbers and shapes of both tonemarks and short/long vowels which are transcribed in all of Chinese and its dialects and Southeast Asian languages such as Vietnamese, Cambodian and Thai. All these are inevitable factors for Hangulization of these langages. For Hangulization- the transcription of foreign language into Korean letter, four tonemarks are required for Mandarin, while Cantonese, another Chinese type, needs one more tonemark and three more for Vietnamese. This comes up to total of 8 tonemarks, and a certain tone doesn’t need any tonemark. Total 9 numerical tonemarks can be used instead of normal tonemarks in frequent cases and it will be very useful if provided optionally. Long vowels are transcribed explicitly in Cantonese and Thai while short vowels are transcribed explicitly in Vietnamese. Thus, the explicit transcription of short and long vowels is also a very important factor in Hangulization of these languages. Other languages such as Laotian, Burmese and Cambodian remain to be subjects for further researches to be accomplished later.

방언을 포함한 모든 중국어와 베트남어, 캄보디아어, 태국어 등의 동남아어에 나타나는 성 조와 장단모음의 표기의 종류, 부호, 숫자에 대하여 연구·제안하였으며, 이 요소들은 이들 언어의 한글표기에서 반드시 고려해야할 중요한 부분이다. 북경어(보통화)에서는 4개의 성조부호가 필요하며, 광동어에는 1개가 추가로 필요하고, 베 트남어에는 3개의 부호가 추가되어 모두 8개의 성조부호만 있으면 충분하게 된다. 그외에 숫자형태의 성조표시(numerical tonemark)가 성조부호(tonemark) 대신 사용될수 있도록 옵션으로 제공되면 여러면에서 매우 유용할 것으로 본다. 또한 성조부호의 표시가 없는 성조도 있는데, 모두 9개의 숫자기호를 성조부호 대신 옵션으로 사용할 수 있다. 현재 광동어, 태국어는 자기들 문자 표기에서 장음을 구분하여 표기하고 있으며, 베트남어 에서는 단음을 그렇게 하고 있다. 따라서 이들 장단음에 대한 표기가 별도로 필요하다. 그밖에 라오스어, 미얀마어, 캄보디아에 대하여는 차후의 연구과제로 남긴다.
