The Koreans are now gaining new experiences about the external globalization and the internal globalization. The internal globalization means that the foreign people who move into Korea from the various country make Korea multi-cultural society. We have never experienced the present situation. So we should rack our brains trying to find the new solutions. Korean style of the multi-cultural society means the multi-cultural phenomena that have been made by the foreign women who immigrated to Korea and married Korean men. This is quite new and unique. The ratio of the international marriage is about 10% among whole number of marriage. So the number of multi–cultural students is increasing. But in Korea the multi – cultural women and students live in bad surroundings. If they were to suceed in Korea or to live like the decent human beings, they need the high quality education and the care services. It is true that the support policies Korean government execute for them help to lift their living quality. But the policies are lacking in the underlying and fundamental solution. So we want to dicuss the harmony of the unification and the coexistence for the multi-cultural society. We want to focus the fact that everything commonly has the universality and individuality. So, the whole Korean should commonly know the Korean language and talk to each other with Korean language. And the whole Korean should commonly accommodate minority language and talk to each other with minority language. We think that the harmony of the unification and the coexistence or the harmony of the whole and the part is the best policy for the multi-cultural society.

한국은 현재 대외적 세계화와 대내적 세계화를 경험하고 있다. 여기서 말하는 대내적 세계화란 외국 사람이 다양한 방식으로 이주하여 한국 내에 다문화 사회 가 형성되고 있다는 의미이다. 이러한 현상은 한국이 지금까지 경험해 보지 못한 새로운 것이기 때문에, 한국은 지속적인 발전을 위해 새롭게 창의적인 해결책을 찾아야 한다. 한국적 다문화 사회의 형성이란 다른 국가와 다른 현상으로 외국 여자가 이주 하여 한국 남자와 결혼하여 만들어지는 다문화 현상을 주로 일컫는 것이다. 국제 결혼하는 숫자는 전체 혼인 건수의 약 10%가 되고, 이들에 의해 태어난 자녀들이 초등학교와 중학교 그리고 고등학교에 대거 진입하고 있는 상황이다. 이들은 한국 사회에 적응하기 위한 한국어와 한국문화에 대한 학습이 필요하고, 한국인이 이들 을 차별하는 분위기의 개선을 필요로 한다. 한국의 정부가 이들에게 펼치는 정책은 지원 정책이 주류를 이루는데, 국가 전 체의 체계적인 계획 없이 정부의 각 부처나 지방자치단체가 중구난방식으로 한국 어 교육이나 직업 교육 등 현실적이고 표면적인 정책을 중심으로 하고 있다. 이들 이 한국 사회의 진정한 일원이 되고, 한국 사회는 이들을 대등한 구성원으로 받아 들이는 의식의 전환이나 가치관의 전환에 대한 근원적인 연구나 실천은 거의 없 는 상황이다. 본고에서는 이러한 문제를 인문학적으로 해결하기 위해 통합과 공존의 조화를 논한다. 모든 존재는 보편성과 개별성을 동시에 가지고 있다는 사실에 착안하여 모든 한국인은 한국어를 중심으로 통합하고, 소수 이주민의 언어와 문화를 문화상 대주의적 시각에서 수용하여, 전체와 부분이 각각 조화를 이루는 인문학적 정신을 한국적 다문화 현상의 해결책으로 제시하는 것이다. 그리하여 현재의 상황을 한국 이 더 발전할 수 있는 기회로 만들 수 있도록 인식의 전환을 꾀하자는 것이다.
