The purpose of this study was to examine the relations among pre-service early childhood teacher's emotional intelligence, self-efficiency and major satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 200 pre-service early childhood teachers who are at the grade of 1,2,3 from J University in A city. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS WIN(ver 12.0) program and frequency, descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The research findings and disscusions were as follows. First, we found the level of major satisfaction of early childhood education students as pre-service early childhood teacher was high. And the following variables, listed in order from greatest impact to least impact, had an effect on major satisfaction with perceptional satisfaction, course servey, curriculum satisfaction, relational satisfaction. Second, there was statistically significant correlations between emotional intelligence and major satisfaction. Finally, there was statistically significant correlations between self-efficiency and major satisfaction. We found the effect of self-efficiency and emotional intelligence on major satisfaction of pre-service early childhood teacher was significant.

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사들의 정서지능, 자기효능감과 전공만족도간의 관계를 살펴보 는 것이었다. 연구대상은 A지역에 위치한 J대학교 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 200명이었다. 자료분석은 SPSS Win(Ver 12.0)을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, Pearson의 단순상관, 단계적 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능은 타인 정서 인식하기, 대인 관계 다루기에서 가장 높았고, 자기효능감에서는 자기조절 효능감 이 가장 높았으며, 전공만족도에서는 인식만족도에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교 사의 정서지능, 자기효능감, 전공만족도간의 상관관계는 대부분 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나 타났다. 셋째, 정서지능과 자기효능감이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 정서지능, 자기효능감의 순으로 통계적으로 유의한 설명력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다.
