This study is targeted to verify comprehensively the degree of integral effectiveness by the method of meta-analysis on the research tools of the children’s art therapy from 2001 to 2013. The number of papers dealing with the effects of art therapy is vastly various and we can identify each study in the course of treatment outcomes. In conclusion, this study propose the direction of a follow-up study based on trust and feasible results. For purposes of this research, program to study the effects of art therapy was collected and was selected papers of 874 pieces among the art therapy paper for children(elementary school). 874 papers selected from 151 papers using measure of self-esteem was extracted secondary side. 151 papers extracted from pre-post tests was progressed samely using the check picture projection and the statistics of pre-post measure of self-esteem were presented and possible meta-analysis results of 28 pieces were selected and analyzed finally. In Extraction of a research paper the final selection of the 28 pieces were analyzed finally which is tested equally by the pre-post check picture projection. Thus, the overall trend of the research paper looked at the research papers per year, each major area, group members, the total trials, hourly distribution per session. As a result, the results obtained the 0.65 average effect size of the children's art therapy program and average ranking by majors, average ranking of inspection type, number of members of a group, the average per total trials, hourly average ranking performed per session and analysis from 28 research papers was verified by examining the effect type of the specific majors average rank, the average rank type tests, number of members of a group, the average per total trials, hourly average ranking performed per session. The results of these studies are as follows: 1. The overall trend of study papers were presented from the data which data were Published in 2008. 2. Majors of study papers were art therapy majors mostly. 3. In check type of children's art therapy program, the K-HTP average effect was higher when group configuration is less than 10 people and the total number of times performed is more than 19 and the trial time is 60 minutes per session. This study had an interest to research tools used to demonstrate the effectiveness of children's art therapy program. Check picture projection affected by situational factors to measures of test and response revealed closely complementary relation, and the use of advanced research tools helped design and implementation of children's art therapy program are significant in that they can provide the basic data.

본 연구는 2001년부터 2013년까지 아동대상 미술치료 프로그램의 효과성을 검증한 연 구 결과들을 메타분석 방법에 의해 통합하여 효과의 정도를 종합 분석한 것이다. 이 에 신뢰하고 타당도 있는 결론을 토대로 후속연구의 방향제시를 하고자 하였다. 이와 같은 연구 목적을 위해 아동(초등학교)을 대상으로 한 미술치료 논문 874편을 선별하였으며 그중 자아존중감 척도를 사용한 논문 151편을 2차 추출하였다. 추출된 151편에서 사전-사후 동일한 그림투사검사로 진행되고 사전-사후 자아존중감척도의 통계가 제시되어 메타분석이 가능한 결과물 28편을 최종 선정하여1) 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 그 결과 아동미술치료프로그램의 전체 평균효과 크기는 0.65의 결과를 얻었으 며, 평균효과 크기는 28편의 연구물로부터 전공자별 평균순위, 검사유형별 평균 순위, 집단 구성원수, 총 시행횟수별 평균, 회기 당 시행시간별 평균 순위로 분석하여 효과 를 검증하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 연구대상 논문의 전반적인 경향은 2008년에 발표된 자료가 가장 많았다. 2. 연구대상 논문의 전공자는 미술치료전공자가 가장 많게 나타났다. 3. 아동미술치료프로그램의 검사유형에서는 K-HTP가 집단구성은 10명 이하, 총 시행 회수는 19회 이상, 회기 당 시행시간은 60분 일 때 높은 평균효과가 있었다. 이 연구는 아동미술치료프로그램의 효과를 입증하기 위해 사용되는 연구도구에 관심 을 가졌다. 척도검사와 반응에 대한 상황적 요인의 영향을 받는 그림투사검사는 상호 보완적인 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있음을 밝혀내었으며, 더불어 연구도구 사용으로 발 전된 아동미술치료프로그램의 설계와 수행에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 제공해 줄 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
