This study performs DAS test targeting female university students to seek what differences are exhibited according to depression tendency. This study performed depression and DAS test for 167 female students attending University M located in City M of Jeollanamdo. Research tools used by the study include the depression scale test developed by Beck (1978) and Silver’s DAS test, and SPSS 21.0 Program was used for analyzing research data where T-test, one-way layout variance analysis were performed to present statistical analysis results. Results of this study are as follows. First, results of the DAS test showed meaningful differences according to depression tendency of female university students. Second, for DAS picture stimulation choice ratio according to depression tendency, both depressive group and non-depressive group mostly chose ‘parachute’ and there was no big difference in choice ratio between depressive group and non-depressive group. However, even when the same stimulation type was chosen, there were differences according to depression tendency. According to the results of this study, there were meaningful differences of response characteristics for DAS test according to depression tendency of female university students and the study is significant in that it proposed the possibility of DAS test being an useful tool in identifying depression tendency of female university students.

본 연구는 여대생을 대상으로 DAS검사를 실시하여 우울성향에 따라 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구는 전라남도 M시에 소재한 M대학교에 재학 중인 여대생을 대상으로 우울 및 DAS검사를 실시하였다. 연구도구로는 Beck의 우울척도와 Silver의 DAS검사를 사용하 였으며 연구의 자료 분석 방법은 SPSS 21.0 Program을 이용하여, T-test, 일원배치 분 산분석을 실시하여 통계적 분석결과를 제시하였다. 연구의 결과, 여대생의 우울성향에 따라 DAS검사의 결과가 유의미한 차이를 보였으며, 우울성향에 따른 DAS그림자극 선택 비율에서는 우울집단과 비우울집단 모두 ‘낙하산’을 가장 많이 선택하였으며 우 울집단과 비우울집단 간의 선택비율은 큰 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 하지만 동일한 자 극유형을 선택하더라도 그 내용은 우울성향에 따라 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과에 따라 여대생들의 우울성향에 따른 DAS검사의 반응 특성이 유의미 한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나 DAS검사가 여대생의 우울성향을 파악하는데 유용한 진단도구임을 제시하고자 한다.
