Until now, handwriting analysis has mainly focused on a portion of the unit analysis of Hangulconsonants and syllables analysis research on individual handwriting. But this study focused on the consistencyof the sentence unit using "handwriting arrangement" as the preliminary examination of handwritingidentification. In order to analyze the sentence unit, each participant repeatedly wrote “훈민정음 서문” thatconsisted of 120 words 10 times. We obtained meaningful results from analyzing their sentences which reflectedtheir consistency. In this study, we conducted experiments with 20 ordinary people. We paid attention to 4factors in analyzing their individual characteristic handwriting. They are, 1) number of letters in one sentence,2) pattern of the left margin, 3) the amount of writing touching lines, and 4) interval of rows. According tostatistical analysis of these factors, we could understand the consistency of handwriting written by each person. Among these factors, 3) the amount of writing reaching lines was very crucial in analyzing the consistency. And 1) number of letters in one sentence and 2) pattern of the left margin were important elemental featuresthat could be used to differentiate between individual handwriting for their consistency.

개인의 필적에 관한 지금까지의 연구가 한글의 자모음 단위 분석 및 음절단위 분석 연구에 비중을 두었다면, 본 연구에서는 필적 감정의 기초 검사인 “필적배치”를 이용한 문장단위의 항상성 연구에 초점을 두었다. 시필 참가자 총 20명을 대상으로 문장단위 분석을 위해 “훈민정음 서문” 총 120 글자를 10회 반복적으로 기재하면서 문장단위의 특징요소로서, 1) 각 행에 기재된 글자 수, 2) 좌 여백의 형태, 3) 용지의 줄에 닿거나 닿지 않는 글자 수, 4) 행과 윗줄과의 간격 등에 관한 검사를 실시하고 문장단위에서 현출되는 항상성에 대하여 통계적으로 분석하였다. 이 중에서 특히, 3) 용지의 줄에 닿거나 닿지 않는 글자 수는 개개인의 항상성을 측정하는 매우 중요한 요소이었으며, 1) 각 행에 기재된 글자 수, 2) 좌여백의 형태 분석 등은 개인 필적간의 항상성을 정확하게 비교할 수 있는 중요한 특징적인 요소였다. 이 같은 결과로부터 개인의 필적에서 항상성은 개인 간에 차이가 있어 개개인을 구분할 수 있는 특징이 됨을 알 수 있었다.
