This study investigated the effects of Shao-Yong (邵雍)'s poems on those of Sung Confucianism (性理學) during the Joseon Dynasty. This is equivalent to the comparative study of Sung Confucian poems between China and Korea. Shao-Yong (邵雍) was a Sung (宋) Dynasty philosopher and poet who laid the foundation of Neo-Confucianism (新儒學). The comparative study was conducted between the poems of Sung Confucianism (性理學) in the Joseon Dynasty and Shao-Yong (邵雍)'s poems as follows:First, XianTianYiXue (先天易學), which is Shao-Yong (邵雍)'s philosophical thought, was reflected in Sung Confucian poems in the Joseon Dynasty as a literary thought. Second, Shao-Yong (邵雍)'s Self Cultivation (修養論) was reflected in Sung Confucian poems in the Joseon Dynasty. Third, his Guan Wu (觀物) thought, a recognition method of the outside world, affected Sung Confucian (性理學) poems in the Joseon Dynasty. In order to consider the acceptance of Shao-Yong's poems in the Joseon Dynasty, this study divided the period into three stages: the late Goryeo Dynasty and the early Joseon Dynasty, the middle of the Joseon Dynasty and the late Joseon Dynasty. First, this study focused on Lee Saek (李穡), Jeong Do Jeon (鄭道傳), Kim Si Seup (金時習), Seo geojeong (徐居正) in the late Goryeo Dynasty and the early Joseon Dynasty. Second, it focused on Lee Hwang (李滉), Shin Heum (申欽), Ki Daeseung (奇大升), Lee Eonjeok (李彦迪), Choi Rip (崔笠) in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty. Third, it focused on Song SiYeol (宋時烈), Kim, ChangHyup (金昌協), Cho SungKi (趙聖期) in the late Joseon Dynasty.
