Due to the advances in device technology such as smartphones and tablet PCs and mobile technology, the amount of the generated data is increasing rapidly. In order to analyze such a huge amount of data, big data-related technology has become an enthusiastic area and is desired in many applications. Big data analysis tools provide the ability to identify trends, detect patterns and glean other valuable findings from the sea of data available. In this study, to provide an overall view of the currently available big data analytics and their utilization, we presented a detailed survey on state-of-the-art big data analysis techniques and their future prospects.

스마트폰과 태블릿 PC와 같은 디바이스 보급과 이동통신 기술 발전에 따라, 발생하는 데이터는 폭증하고 이를 저 장하고 분석하며 처리할 수 있는 기술이 요구하게 되었다. 이전에 경험하지 못한 방대한 양의 데이터를 분석할 수 있는 빅데이터의 관련 기술은 산업적으로도 각광받는 분야가 되었고 다양한 응용분야들에 적용되고 있다. 빅데이 터 분석 툴은 현재 현황을 확인하는 능력을 제공하며, 데이터의 패턴을 분석하고 활용가능한 방대한 데이터들로부 터 가치 있는 사실을 얻을 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내외적으로 활용되고 있는 빅데이터 분석 기술들을 파악 하고 빅데이터 활용 범위와 목적에 가장 부합하는 효율적인 방식을 제공하기 위하여 전망과 향후 방향들을 제시하 고자 하였다.
