This thesis is a essay to visualize 'the visible and the invisible' of Merleau-Ponty, which was the collections of the fragmented ideas in his late notebook and would have been written as a amazing book by him unless he died suddenly. It is tough to say what is the visible and what is the invisible. Because both are interwound according to him, in addition we have lived in the sign field which already lost the visible, and we can't find it any more in my view. Foucault told it as the division of the word and the object, through that structure he depicted the history of the alienated technological civilization since the modern era. This essay is to chase and figure the fascination with the invisible light of the modern optical scientists, which brought about the lost of the vision. The lost of the visible is related to the alienation of the human, one of those symptoms was the extension and exclusion of the madness, which have been privy theme since the modern philosophy. The madness as the problematic has been imprisoned in the silence in which the word has been deprived of and has been suppressed by the name of the science which has made the visible into the invisible by the modern power. So if we try to find the lost world, we could get unexpectable clues about what has been lost so far only through the depiction of the lived world of the lunatic who could see something in the invisible, as the psychoanalyst method had been originated like that. In the same context Merleau-Ponty opened the doctrine of an embryonic signification in which the vision as the base of the invisible sound was not yet erased, to criticize the alienated signification of the words since the modern era, which had been developed in the next phrase of his philosophy.
