How to read Laozi easily? There is a simple code to understand it. The answer is femininity. At the first time, Femininity is not familiar in Korean society. Sometimes, it was understood as submissiveness or radical social movement. Now, however, femininity became an important conception as one section of philosophy. Confucianism represents patriarchism while Taoism emphasizes feminism. We could say Laozi was the earliest feminist in the world. Though Laozi's tender feminism is not like modern tough feminism, it contributes to the variation of ancient thought. Unfortunately, modern thinkers merely discovered anarchism in Laozi instead of feminism. Laozi does not agree with nationalism including the totalitarian defensive mechanism. Feminismis almost against nationalism which suppresses woman rights to stress patriotism. For example, fraternité in French revolution was not philanthropy, but it was just for man. Laozi could accept deconstructivism which is against western phallicism in white mythology representing women asanti-truth, outsiders, and byproducts. Laozi's femininity restored philosophy to the equal state for male/female, Europe/Asia,foreign/domestic language, knowledge/action, and others/self. This world needs feminine philosophylike Taoism which is alternating Confucianism. We are all the sons of mother.

어떻게 하면 노자를 쉽게 읽을 수 있는가? 노자를 읽는 간단한 암호가 있는데, 그것이 바로여성성이 다. 여성성이란 말은 한국사회에서는 처음에는 익숙하지 않았다. 때로 그것은 순종이나과격한 사회 운동과 관련되었다. 그러나 오늘 여성성은 철학의 한 분과로서 중요한 개념으로 성립한다. 도가가 여성주의를 강조하는 반면, 유교는 가부장주의를 대표한다. 노자는 세계최초의 페미니스트라 고 할 수 있다. 노자의 부드러운 여성주의가 비록 현대의 굳센 여성주의와는 같지 않을지라도 그것은 고대 사유를 변환시키는 데 이바지했다. 불행히도 현대의 사상가는 노자에게서여성주의보다는 무정 부주의를 찾아냈다. 노자는 전체주의적인 방어기제를 지닌 민족주의에는 동의하지 않는다. 여성주의는 거개가 애국주의 라는 미명 아래 여성의 권리를 억압한 민족주의에 반대한다. 이를테면, 프랑스혁명의 정신인 ‘박애’는 인류애가 아니라 남자끼리의 우정이다. 노자는 남근중심주의에 반대하는 해체론을받아들일 수 있다. 여성을 반(反)진리, 주변, 부산물로 취급한 백색신화를 거부한다. 노자의 여성성은 철학을 남성과 여성의 동등한 지위로 복원시킨다. 서구/아시아, 외국어/모국어, 지 식/행위, 남/나의 우열을 없애는 것이다. 세상은 유가를 대신할 여성철학을 필요로 한다. 우리는 모두 어머니의 아이이다.
