This study has been carried out to figure out the current state of exchangeof Korean and Chinese literature studies carried out after the establishmentof diplomatic relations between Korea and China and find the direction ofdevelopmental exchange between the literature fields of both countries. For this,this paper examines the current state of exchange focusing on The Society ofKorean & Chinese Humanities which are leading literature exchange betweenKorea and China firstly. Secondly, the current state of literature exchangestudies of universities is examined. In doing so, the current state of exchangesis shown focusing on Humanity Korea Project Unit and Brain Korea Project Unitfor Korean Universities. For Chinese universities, this article focuses on CoreUniversity Program for Korean Studies and Seed Program for Korean Studies. The exchange between these universities has been found to be improving qualityof the exchange through publication of studies and international conference. Finally, the exchange between both countries’ literary people and trend inliterature translation, which directly promote such exchange, are examined. Theresults show that Writers Conference Of Korea & China and Seoul InternationalForum For Literature are playing the roles as the basis for exchange betweenboth countries. Further, literatures are being translated much more activelythan before since 2000s. According to the current states found, this studyreviews problem of exchange of Korean and Chinese literatures and figures outthe measurements for developmental exchange.

이 연구는 수교 이후 한중 문학 연구 분야의 교류 현황을 살피고, 향후 양국 문학계의 발전적인 교류 방향을 모색하는 데 목표가 있다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 첫째, 한중 문학 연구 교류를 실질적으로 주도하고 있는 대표적 학회인 ‘중국조선-한국문학연구학회’와 ‘한중인문학회’를 중심으로 교류의 현황을 살폈다. 둘째, 대학의 한중 문학 연구 교류가 진행되는 현황을 살펴보았다. 한국의 대학은 ‘HK사업단’과 ‘BK사업단’을 중심으로, 중국의 대학은 한국 정부가 지원하는 ‘해외한국학중핵대학육성사업’과 ‘해외한국학씨앗형사업’을 수행 중인 대학들을 중심으로 교류가 활성화되고 있었다. 학회와 대학의 교류는 주로 연구서 발간과 국제학술대회를 통해 교류의 질적 수준을 점차 높여가고 있는 중이다. 마지막으로 문학 연구 교류에 직접적인자극제가 되는 양국 문인의 교류와 문학작품의 번역 동향을 살폈다. ‘한중작가회의’와 ‘서울국제문학포럼’은 대표적인 양국 문인 교류의 장이 되고 있으며, 2000년대 이후 양국의 문학작품은 이전에 비해 활발하게 번역되고 있다. 이상의 현황을 바탕으로, 한중 문학 연구 교류의 문제점을 검토해 보고 향후 발전적인 교류 방안을 모색하였다.
