The purpose of this research is to establish the influence that the empowerment of golf instructors exerts on communicationand job satisfaction, and to provide eventual data that can explore the qualitative improvement ofgolf instructors. The following results were obtained. First, there were statistically significant differences in thesubordinate factors of empowerment, communication, and job satisfaction according to the demographic characteristicsof golf instructors. Second, the empowerment of golf instructors exerted positive influences oncommunication. Third, the empowerment of golf instructors exerted positive influences on job satisfaction. Fourth,the communication of golf instructors exerted positive influences on job satisfaction. Fifth, it was found that communicationhad effects as a mediator variable in the positive effects of empowerment on job satisfaction.

본 연구는 골프지도자의 임파워먼트가 의사소통 및 직무만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 골프지도자의 질적향상을 도모할 수 있는 자료 제공이 목적이었다. 이를 위해 실내⋅외 골프연습장 골프지도자 220명을 대상으로 임파워먼트, 의사소통, 직무만족도 조사도구를 이용하여 자료를 수집한 후, 연구목적에 맞게 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS18.0 통계프로그램으로 자료처리를 하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 골프지도자의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 임파워먼트, 의사소통, 직무만족도의 하위요인에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 골프지도자의임파워먼트가 의사소통에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 골프지도자의 임파워먼트가 직무만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 골프지도자의 의사소통이 직무만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 다섯째, 골프지도자의 임파워먼트가 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향에서 의사소통이 매개변인으로 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
