The objectives of this study are to suggest useful directions to domestic medical tourism industry through investigating and analysing recognition of foreigners living in Korea about satisfaction levels with domestic medical tourism products and readiness for inbound medical tourists. The results of the analyses are as follows. First, according to the analysis result of satisfaction level with domestic medical tourism product, respondents were the most satisfied with the cleanliness of the inside of the hospital(4.75), followed by overall hospital facility(4.66), attending nurse(4.63), hospital employee(4.51), overall medical service(4.42), doctor in charge(4.32), and medical expense(4.09). Second, in the analysis result of preparation for inbound medical tourists, respondents evaluated medical technology(4.68) as the highest level, then followed by medical team and employees' attitude and atmosphere(4.55), communication on overall medical service(4.39), facility relevant for foreign patient(4.22), directional sign for foreign patient(4.06), and promotion materials' provision and installation in right place(3.86).

연구는 국내 거주 중인 주한 외국인들을 대상으로 ‘국내 의료관광 상품에 대한 만 족도와 수용태세’에 대한 인식을 조사, 분석함으로써 국내 의료관광 상품의 경쟁력제고 에 필요한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 먼저, 국내 의료관광 상품에 대한 부문별 만족도를 조사한 결과, 응답자들은 ‘병원 내 부의 청결상태’(4.75), ‘병원의 전반적인 시설수준’(4.66), ‘담당간호사’(4.63), ‘직원(의료 진 제외)’(4.51), ‘전반적인 의료서비스’(4.42), ‘담당의사’(4.32), ‘진료비 수준’(4.09)의 순 으로 만족한다고 응답한 것으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 의료관광 수용태세에 대한 조사 결과, 응답자들은 ‘의료기술 수준’(4.68), ‘의료진 및 직원의 태도와 분위기’(4.55), ‘의료 서비스 전반의 의사소통’(4.39), ‘외국인환자 수용에 적절한 시설수준’(4.22), ‘안내표지판 (언어표기 등)의 적절한 설치’(4.06), ‘홍보물의 적소 비치 및 제공’(3.86)의 순으로 평가한 것으로 조사되었다.
