The study is aimed at analyzing the influential factors of Regeneration Projects performance in Abandoned Mine Area. Policy, empirical analysis is structured to take advantage of the measurement model and the abandoned mining area residents playing the expert opinion survey analysis to compare AHP analysis plays a more systematic and effective regional success in their lives. Analysis by experts and locals thought there were other parts of importance. In the case of the central government's commitment to budget, both experts and community members think that it is important. Experts think that it is important for the dedicated organization of the mine and utilization of mine, the link of the mine, but community members think that it is not important for them. After all, for the success of mine area regeneration in the future, the project which residents and experts think it's important and they assess, as well as that reflects the needs of local residents, must be able to judge the performance.

이 연구는 국내의 폐광지역 중 정부가 폐광지역진흥진구로 지정한 태백시 등 7개 시·군을 대상으로 폐광지역재생사업의 성과창출을 위한 영향요인을 분석한다. 분석방법은 정책적·실증적으로 구조화된 측정모형을 활용하여 폐광지역주민과 지역재생 전문가들의 의견조사를 실시하고 AHP분석을 통해 서로 비교 분석하여 보다 체계적이고 효과적인 지역재생 성공요인을 마련한다. 분석결과 전문가집단과 지역주민들이 생각하는 중요도가 다른 부분이 존재하였다. 중앙정부의 투입예산의 경우 전문가와 지역주민들이 모두 중요하게 생각하였으나 전문가들은 전담추진조직과 폐광활용 및 연계를 중요시하였으나 지역주민들은 중요치 않게 생각하였다. 결국 향후 폐광지역재생사업의 성공을 위해서는 지역주민과 전문가가 모두 중요하다고 평가되는 사업뿐만 아니라 지역주민들의 욕구를 반영하는 사업추진이 있어야만 성과를 낼 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
