This paper explored the present state and value of the two pansori collections of LP records ( and ) produced by the publishing company "The Deep-Rooted Tree". The results are as follows:First, 'The Deep-Rooted Tree Pansori Gamsanghoe' was held 100 times in September, 1978, starting in January, 1974, where Park, Dong-jin, a great pansori singer and other singers sang pansori. This was the origin of the two pansori collections of LP records produced by the publishing company "The Deep-Rooted Tree". Second, the collection of 23 records were produced in May, 1982 with six explanatory books. It contains Kim Se-jong's sung by Jo, Sang-hyeon (6 LPs), Seopyeonje sung by Han, Ae-sun (5 LPs), Dongpyeonje sung by Park, Bong-sul (4LPs), Dongpyeonje sung by Park, Bong-sul (3 LPs), Seopyeonje sung by Jeong, Gwon-jin (4 LPs), and Danga (1 LP). Kim, Myeong-hwan was the drummer. This collection of pansori records has its meaning in that a great singer and a great drummer were in harmony, and in that pansori daseosbatang was sung to the end. It also contributed to understanding pansori using six explanatory books. was produced, which was composed of 22 LP stereo records and 5 explanatory books. 22 LP stereo records consist of the following LP records:Jeong, Jeong-ryeol's sung by Choe, Seung-hui, 7 LPs, drummer Kim, Myeong-hwan; Boseong style sung by Jo, Sang- hyeon, drummer Jang, Jong-min, 5 LPs; Dongchoje sung by O, Jeong-suk, drummer Kim, Dong-jun, 4 LPs; Yoo, Seong-jun style sung by Jeong, Gwang-su, drummer Jeong, Cheol-ho, 3 LPs; Songpan style sung by Song, Sun-seop, drummer Kim, Seong-gwon, 4 LPs. A great singer and a great drummer were also in harmony in this collection of pansori records, and it contributed to understanding pansori by reflecting the chuimsae of the audience, writing music on the stave and writing explanatory notes.

본고에서는 뿌리깊은나무에서 출반한 판소리 음반 전집인 <뿌리깊은나무 판소리>와 <뿌리깊은나무 판소리 다섯 바탕> 의 현황과 가치에 대해 살펴보았다. 그 결과를 간략하게 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘뿌리깊은나무 판소리 감상회’가 1974년 1월부터 1978년 9월까지 100회 열려 박동진 명창 등이 판소리를 불렀는데, 이 감상회가 뿌리깊은나무 판소리 음반 전집을 출반하는 원동력이 되었다. 둘째, <뿌리깊은나무 판소리>는 1982년 5월에 음반 23장과 사설집 6권으로 출반되었다. 김세종제 조상현의 <춘향가> (6LP), 서편제 한애순의 <심청가>(5LP), 동편제 박봉술의 <흥보가>(4LP), 동편제 박봉술의 <수궁가>(3LP), 서편제 정권 진의 <적벽가>(4LP), <단가>(1LP)로 구성되어 있으며, 고수는 모두 김명환이었다. 이 판소리 음반 전집은 명창의 소리와 명고수의 북 장단이 조화를 이룬 기념비적 명반이고, 최초로 기획 제작한 판소리 다섯 바탕의 완창 음반으로 판소리 음반 사적 의의가 크다. 그리고 판소리 다섯 바탕의 사설을 모두 채록하고 상세히 주석하여 판소리 이해에 크게 이바지하였다. <뿌리깊은나무 판소리 다섯 바탕>은 1990년 1월부터 1992년 2월 사이에 음반 22장과 사설집 5권으로 출반되었다. 정정렬 제 최승희의 <춘향가>(7LP, 고수 김명환), 보성소리 조상현의 <심청가>(5LP, 고수 장종민), 동초제 오정숙의 <흥보가> (4LP, 고수 김동준), 유성준제 정광수의 <수궁가>(3LP, 고수 정철호), 송판 송순섭의 <적벽가>(4LP, 고수 김성권)를 담 고 있다. 이 판소리 음반 전집 역시 창자의 소리와 고수의 북 장단이 조화를 이룬 명반이다. 귀명창들의 추임새를 반영하 고, 다섯 바탕의 사설을 채록하여 상세히 주석하고, 오선보로 채보하여 판소리를 이해하는 데에 기여하였다.
