This study was carried out in order to reform accounting curriculum by applying NCS of the department of business administration with long history in the field of business education. In this study, the contracting out students of industries were surveyed to find out the demand of industries and curriculum was reformed based upon the competency unit suggested by NCS. Main study results are as follows. First, the existing curriculum was reformed by reflecting competency unit necessary for accounting duties on the basis of demand of industries and NCS and some curriculum subjects were established so practical work application competency may be improved. Second, the education purpose of the department was realized better by reforming the existing curriculum to NCS based curriculum. Third, in case of reformation of curriculum applying NCS, it is necessary to create a synergy effect through amalgamation with other department or cooperation.

본 연구는 상업교육분야에서 오랜 전통을 갖고 있는 경영과에서 국가직무능력표준(NCS)을 적용하여 회계분 야의 교육과정을 개편하기 위하여 진행되었다. 본 연구는 산업체 위탁과정 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사하여 산업체 수요를 파악하고 NCS에서 제시한 능력 단위에 근거하여 교육과정을 개편하였으며 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업체 수요 및 NCS를 기반으로 하여 회계 직무에 필요한 능력단위를 반영하여 기존 교과목을 개편하 였으며 일부 교과목을 신설하여 실무적용 능력을 향상시켰다. 둘째, 기존의 교육과정을 NCS 기반 교육과정으로 개편함으로써 학과의 교육목표를 더욱 잘 실현할 수 있게 되었다. 셋째, NCS를 적용하여 교육과정을 개편하고자 할 경우에는 타학과와의 융합 또는 협력을 통해 시너지효과를 창출할 필요가 있다.
