Design of a Corrugated Waveguide for the Uniform Electric field distribution

This paper describes about designing process and simulation results of the corrugated waveguide for an uniform electric field distribution. Characteristics of waveguide are as follows: frequency is 2,45Ghz, total length is 1178mm, and diameter is 70mm. We have been used corrugate structure to generate circular waveguide on the uniform field distribution. Since the plasma inside waveguide is very lossy (losstangent=0.032), electromagnetic wave inside waveguide is gradually attenuates and becomes non- uniformed. In order to fill the attenuated power we made a design for creating uniform electric field and power distribution by setting coaxial line feed that is in 1 distance in between. Moreover, we made a 4mm gap in order for atmospheric pressure to enter the corrugated waveguide. We checked electromagnetic field and power distribution by simulating the corrugated waveguide in CST Microwave studio EM, and we have a comparatively uniformed result. Lastly, we demonstrated results of power density for a compared 1D graphics
