The Effect of Life-goal of youth on Satisfaction of youth activity - A Mediating Effect of Self-identity and Behavior control -

The purpose of this study was examine a mediating effect of self-identity and behavior control on the relationship between life-goal of youth and satisfaction of youth activity. This study used the data of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KYPS) by National Youth Policy Institute. The data on 7th graders of third year in 2012 were used. Questionnaire survey was conducted to 2,351 middle school student in all area, 2,351(males 1,176, females 1,175) was used for analysis. The result of this study were as follows. First, life-goal of youth was positively correlated with satisfaction of youth activity. When the youth who have a life-goal is participate in activities, satisfaction of youth activity is high. Second, it was found to provide a positive effect between life-identity and self -control, life-goal and behavior control. Third, self-identity was negatively correlated with life-goal of youth. Fourth, behavior control was positively correlated with life-goal of youth. When youth who well done behavior control is participate in activities, satisfaction is high. Fifth, self-identity and behavior control partially mediated the effect of life-goal on satisfaction of youth activity. In other word, life-goal is often a direct effect of satisfaction of youth activity and is influence indirectly through self-identity and behavior control. This consequence informed mediating effect of self-identity and behavior control on the relationship between life- goal of youth and satisfaction of youth activity.
