‘Healing’ is one of the important topics in our society today. Accordingly, many preachers become interested in healing ministry, and, as a result, proclaim the message of healing on the pulpit. But there had been not only a misunderstanding about healing ministry, but also are the publications that guide the preaching on healing not many. This article discusses if preaching on healing is theologically justifiable and necessary and how the healing message can be preached in the proper way. Above all, the write believes that preaching on healing corresponds to the essence of gospel. Also, today’ s situation requires the message of healing from the pulpit. But what is important is to preach proper message matching the essence of Christianity and gospel. The writer calls it ‘God—centered approach.’ To be more specific, first of all, the Word of God should not be distorted. Then, the healing message should be approached through the gospel. Thirdly, the right and balanced application is required. Lastly, it should depend on the power of Holy Spirit. Also, the writer suggests few things for right, effective and powerful healing preaching in this paper. Firstly, it should aim positive healing. Secondly, the experiences that the preacher himself is healed by the Word of God or gospel are required. Thirdly, the message of healing should be proclaimed as a medicine, not as a prescription. Lastly, diverse sermon forms should be used. I hope that the effective and powerful message of healing is preached so that many people experience cure and restoration.

오늘날 우리 사회의 대표적인 화두 가운데 하나는 ‘치유’이다. 따라서 최근 많은 설교자들이 치유에 관심을 가 지고 있고, 또한 강단에서 치유를 위한 메시지를 선포한다. 하지만 치유 사역에 대한 오해가 있고, 치유 설교 를 위한 치침을 제시하는 출판물들이 많지 않다. 본고는 치유 설교가 신학적으로 정당한지, 그리고 치유 설교 를 어떻게 해야 할지를 논의하였다. 무엇보다도 필자는 치유 설교는 복음의 본질에 해당하는 것이고, 오늘날 상황에서 반드시 필요하고 유익한 사 역이라고 생각한다. 그런데 중요한 것은 기독교의 본질과 설교의 본질에 부합한 치유 설교를 해야 하는 것이 다. 필자는 그것을 한 마디로 ‘하나님 중심적, 치유 설교’라고 하였다. 좀 더 구체적으로 설명하자면, 먼저, 성 경의 하나님의 뜻과 의도를 왜곡하지 말고 바르게 드러내야 한다. 두 번째로, 복음으로 접근해야 한다. 세 번 째로, 바르고 균형 잡힌 적용이 요구된다. 네 번째로, 성령의 능력에 절대적으로 의존해야 한다. 뿐만 아니라 필자는 좀 더 바르고 효과적이며 능력 있는 치유 설교를 위해서 설교자가 몇 가지 유의해야 점들 도 제시하였다. 먼저, 적극적인 치유를 지향해야 한다. 다음으로, 설교자 자신이 말씀을 통하여 또는 복음 안 에서 치유되고 회복되는 경험이 있어야 한다. 세 번째로, 치유의 메시지는 처방이 아니라 약으로서의 선포되 어야 한다. 네 번째로 다양한 설교 형식(또는 접근 방식)을 활용하는 것이 바람직하다. 본고가 한국 교회 강단에서 효과적이고 능력 있는 치유의 메시지가 선포되는데 도움이 되길 바란다.
