Yulgok Yi-yi's position and influence in Neo-Confucianism in JoseonDynasty is absolute, which has established a profound genealogy of history ofideas also in Korean history of philosophy. Yulgok-Study has an open academictradition and aims for Musil(務實) academic tradition. This succession and newestablishment is a result study of Yulgok-Study, which is present progressivecontinuous in China and East Asia, also in the 21st century. This thesis briefly arranged the existing research result and the researcher'smaterial investigation by avidly reading the current situation of study onKorean philosophy and Yulgok-Study in China. Currently the study on Koreanphilosophy in Chinese academic society mainly concentrates on KoreanNeo-Confucianism, mostly on Toegye Study and Yulgok-Study fieldsconcretely. Result study on the philosophy of Wang Yangming, Silhak, andother Confucianism, etc. in China, Japan, etc. is consistently complementedand its data is continuously collected. Presently study on Korean philosophy,Toegye Study and Yulgok-Study in China, though slightly, can be said todisplay a great prospect thanks to the cooperation between Korea ChinaInternational Academic Seminar and Koreanology Research Center in China. Study on Yulgok-Study in China is consistently spread·intensified moreclosely since the diplomatic relations establishment between Korea and Chinain 1992. Study on Koreanology, Toegye Study and Yulgok-Study haveconsistently developed in International Academic Seminar and KoreanologyResearch Center in China, however the foundation of intensification and spreadis urgently required. The researcher could recognize that there was a view andtime to comprehend the idea of East Asia centered with the Korean Peninsulaby arranging Yulgok-Study research in China. Therefore, the researchersuggests that the cultivation of overseas Koreanology and specialists inYulgok-Study to combine culture, history and philosophy in China is urgently required.

조선조 성리학사에서 율곡 이이의 위치와 영향은 절대적이며, 한국철학사에서도 중요한 사상사적 계보를 확 보하고 있다. 율곡학은 개방적 학풍을 지녔고, 務實학풍을 지향한다. 이 계승과 창신은 21C 율곡학의 연구 성 과로 이어져 중국 및 동아시아에서 현재진행형이다. 본 논문은 중국 내 한국철학의 연구현황 및 율곡학 연구현황을 검토하고, 기존의 연구성과와 함께 본인의 답 사 자료를 정리한 것이다. 현재 중국학계에서 한국철학에 대한 연구는 주로한국 성리학에 집중되어 있으며, 구체적으로는 퇴계학과 율곡학 분야가 대부분이다. 중국과일본 등에서 진행되고 있는 한국 양명학과 실학, 기 타 유학 등의 성과 연구는 지속적으로 보완 작업이 이루어지고 있으며, 자료 축적이 진행 중임을 밝혀 둔다. 현재 중국의 한국철학 및퇴계학, 율곡학 연구는 아직 미미한 수준이지만, 한중국제학술세미나와 중국내 한국 학연구소의 협력으로 커다란 발전을 보이고 있다. 중국 내 율곡학 연구는 1992년 한중수교 이래 긴밀한 관계를 유지하면서 지속적으로 확산·심화되고 있다. 다 만 한국학, 퇴계학, 율곡학 연구는 국제학술세미나와 중국 내 한국학 연구소에서의 지속적인 발전이라는 성과 와 함께, 심화와 확산이라는 절실한 과제가 남아있다. 중국의 율곡학 연구를 정리하면서 논자는 한반도를 중 심으로 동아시아 사상을 포괄하는 시각을정립할 시점에 와 있음을 인지할 수 있었다. 따라서 중국내 문화 및 역사, 철학을 통섭할 수있는 해외 한국학, 율곡학 인재 양성을 제언하는 바이다.
