This study is a narrative research composed based on the experience of a field instructor who is acting as an elite instructor. Exposing problems of an elite sport judo as of the year 2014 based on the experiences accumulated while acting as an instructor at the elementary, middle and high schools is the objective of this study, and it is the realty that judo which is holding the limelight as trusty event for gold medals in the olympic games and world tournaments cannot be made in a short time. An outcome can be generated only when we find players by spending a lot of time, and instructor, player and parents become one mind. But the reality is that players are harmed by realistic side effects such as negative perspectives, administrators’ self-righteousness and consistent negligence and ostracism rather than cultivating elite players, which worries the future of Korean elite sports. Thus, a place for discussion to accurately realize the problems of reality and prepare active countermeasures must be urgently prepared.

이 연구는 엘리트지도자로 활동하고 있는 현장지도자의 체험을 바탕으로 구성된 내러티브 연구이다. 초⋅중⋅고등학교의 지도자로 활동하면서 겪은 내용을 토대로 2014년 현재 엘리트스포츠인 유도의 문제점을 드러내고자 하 는 것이 본 연구의 목적이며, 올림픽과 세계대회의 금메달 효자종목으로 각 광받고 있는 유도는 한 번에 만들어질 수 없는 것이 현실이다. 많은 시간을 투자하여 선수를 발굴하고 지도자와 선수, 학부모가 한 마음이 되었을 때 비 로소 결과물이 탄생할 수 있다. 그러나 현실은 부정적인 시각과 관리자의 독 선으로 인한 선수들의 피해는 현실적인 부작용으로 엘리트선수들을 육성하 기보다 방치와 방관으로 일관하는 모습 속에 한국 엘리트 스포츠의 미래는 불안하다. 현실의 문제점을 정확하게 인식하고 적극적인 대안을 마련하는 논 의의 장이 시급하게 마련되어야 할 것이다.
