The aim of this thesis is to investigate that in the case of using only zircon(ZrSiO4) tofeel of cold and other opacifiers (Tin oxide [SnO2], Titanium dioxide [TiO2], Calcium phosphate[Ca3(PO4)2], Zinc oxide [ZnO], Rice straw ash, Antimony oxide [Sb2O3], Cerium [CeO2]) was added to mix and find out significant composition to opaque glaze soft and warm feeling appearance of the effects and to examine the characteristics of study. Firstly, the different opalescences caused by the change of kaolin , silica and feldspar, limestone, MgCO3 in the principal glaze were compared and the composition ratios for the best opalescences were chosen. After that, opacifiers were added in order to replace the cold feeling of ZrSiO4 to warm and soft. A white, sanbaek, buncheong and bunjang clays were chosen, the highest sintering temperatures were 1260℃ for oxidation and 1250℃ for reduction. The base glaze is a lime, lime-magnesia, zircon 5wt% by selecting the fixed and the other opacifiers changes gave1,2,3,4,5 wt%.

본 연구는 유백제의 대표적인 지르콘(ZrSiO4)을 사용하였을 경우 지르콘만의 차가운 느낌의 유백 유조를 각종 유백제(산화주석[SnO2], 산화티탄[TiO2], 제3인산칼슘[Ca3(PO4)2], 산화아연[ZnO], 볏짚재, 산화안티몬[Sb2O3], 산화세륨[CeO2])를 첨가, 혼합하여 실험한 후 부드럽고 따스한 유백의 조성비를 찾아내어 유백이 미치는 효과 및 외관상의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 우선 유백도 비교 실험으로 석회유에서는 고령토와 규석 및 장석과 석회석의 변화, 석회마그네시아유에서는 고령토와 규석 및 장석과 마그네사이트의 변화에 따른 실험을 한 후 유백도가 가장 좋은 시편의 조성비를 알아보았고, 그 조성비의 시편을 선택하여 각종 유백제를 첨가 및 혼합하여 지르콘의 차가운 느낌을 부드럽고 따스한 느낌으로 대치할 수 있는 유백유의 조성비를 알아보고자 하였다. 소지는 백자토, 산백토, 분청토, 분장토를 사용하여 산화 1260℃, 환원 1250℃에서 소성하였으며, 기본유는 석회유, 석회마그네시아유를 선택하여 지르콘을 5wt.%로 고정하고, 다른 유백제를 1,2,3,4,5wt.%로 변화를 주었다.
